| We declare our full support for an independent state of Biafra: Ejagham/Ekpoi youths in Cross River throws weight behind Biafra |
We are the good people of Etung in Cross River state, we speak the Ejagham language, we are equally referred to as Ekoi people. Ejagham is found also in Ikom around Ekukunela, Okunila, Agbaragba and Mamfe in Cameroon.
We inhabit the entire Etung LGA of Cross River State.
We are the originators of the ancient Nsibidi ideograph which has today spread across other areas in the Bight of Biafra.
The Ejagham were the first to begin the activities of the Biafra Nations Youth League (BNYL)in Cross River State and our brother Ebuta Takon who is the youth league second in command is an Etung-Ejagham son.
The Ejagham people hosted the BNYL congress in Cross River State which has led to the Akwacross declaration.
We hereby declare our full support for an independent state of Biafra.
