Nembe/Brass are two closely related LGA in Bayelsa State which borders the Atlantic Ocean within the Bight of Biafra.
The history of the Bight of Biafra is incomplete without mentioning Nembe and Brass where the British Colonial Lords in the Bight of Benin established their protectorate to govern other areas in the Bight of Biafra.
The history of the Bight of Biafra is clearly written in Nembe which is an evidence that Nembe/Brass is the Biafra we are talking about.
We further wish to state that Nembe/Brass youths are part of the the Biafra Nations Youth League headquartered in Ikom.
The youths of Nembe/Brass LGA are so desirous of achieving an independent State of Biafra for the Niger Deltans and the Igbo people.
