They are living in bondage, yet they continue to shout "One-Nigeria"

A lot of people have remained in bondage today because they do not understand the meaning and consequences of living in it. Some of these people hate living in bondage yet they are completely ignorant of freedom and when you tell them that they are slaves in Nigeria, they will say “BACK TO SENDER!” immediately.

These set of people always believe that whenever "Bondage" is mentioned, it has to do with spiritual forces, like demonic captivity or whatever, NO! I am talking about living in a country like Nigeria where injustice, unlawful killings of people, discrimination, unspeakable poverty, bribery etc are the order of the day. This is what I call Bondage.

Forget about your current status, it can be taken away from you at any time by the corrupt government in Nigeria. It is better to starve and be free than to be a fat slave. Liberty is better than fat slavery. Unknown to most people, what they refer to as freedom is merely a form of bondage.

Many people are into abject poverty in Nigeria and still believe they can cope with it. “Overcoming poverty is not a gesture of charity. It is an act of justice.” – Nelson Mandela. But since the creation of Nigeria by Lord Lugard till date, there is nothing like JUSTICE in her.

Everything about Nigeria is upside-down and that is why the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) and the Director of Radio Biafra, Nnamdi Kanu is still in detention for free speech and for fighting for the freedom of his Biafran people, including other good men and women who are also detained for free speech.

Slavery is a very strong word but if you are honest enough with yourself, you will be able to identify that this contraption called Nigeria is what enslaved you. Some people really want to be free and some ignorant ones enslaved by Nigeria corruption claim they want to be free but actually in reality love their sufferings and would not like to fight to get their freedom if given the opportunity. Slaves who totally desire freedom and deem it necessary will fight for it. Only those who are truly free can experience and enjoy freedom.

Don’t be held down by “One Nigeria” in your life, refuse to be a slave. But if you choose not to be free, at least think about the freedom of your children or your unborn children. Wake-up now and fight for your freedom and that of your children! The choice is always yours. Say NO to "One Nigeria".
