Nigerian police parades some of the terrorists who attacked Nimbo Community. BUT. . .they are not "from Libya"
About two weeks ago, General  Muhammadu Buhari told the whole world that the Fulani terrorists who massacred innocent residents of Nimbo community were from Libya.

He told Nigerians in London that the Ak-47 carrying herdsmen streamed into Nigeria from Libya after the fall of Col Muammar Gaddafi.

“Because of what happened in Libya, when Gaddafi, during his 43 year-regime, trained some people from the Sahel militarily. When his regime was overthrown, those people were dispatched to their countries. They found themselves in the Boko Haram and others.

“It is a major regional and virtually African problem now. There is one called Al Qaeda, there is Boko Haram and so on. It is a governmental project now to trace them, disarm them, try them and discipline them.”

However, two days ago, Nigerian police paraded some Fulani men from Nigeria, who they said participated in the Nimbo attack. This was a sharp contrast to the position Buhari wanted the world to adopt. Buhari wanted exonerate his ethnic Fulani men committing atrocities across Nigeria by diverting attention, to make it a global issue.

The Nigerian police said it arrested five of the Fulani herdsmen involved in the midnight raid on Nimbo community in Uzo-Uwani Local Government Area of Enugu State in April.

The stated the suspects were arrested by operatives of the IGP’s Intelligence Response Team (IRT) based on credible technical intelligence.

The arrested suspects were identified as Mohammed Zurai, Ciroma Musa, Sale Adamu, Suleiman Laute and Haruna Laute.

A Gionee L88 mobile phone with memory card containing the video recording of the massacre in the community was recovered from the suspects.

The suspects, alleged to be herdsmen, had on April 25, 2016, attacked the sleepy community, killing over 100 persons and inflicting injuries on scores of others.

The Movement for the Actualization of the Sovereign State of Biafra, MASSOB, described the arrest of the five suspects involved in the Nimbo community killings as an assault on Ndigbo following prior knowledge at the disposal of the Nigeria Police Force (NPF), which deliberately decided to sabotage the security of lives and properties.

MASSOB leader, Uchenna Madu, told Vanguard that,”the arrest is a diversionary tactic. How can you tell me that Nigerian Police that had first-hand information of the attack were not complicit in the mayhem. ”It is a deliberate assault on Ndigbo. They must have arrested innocent citizens whom they want to parade to save their battered image.

The Fulani herdsmen are the foot soldiers of General Buhari. The arrest is trash.”
