APEX HYPOCRISY! British Foreign and Commonwealth Office denies knowledge of Nigeria brutality against Biafrans

Millions of Biafrans have expressed disappointment over comments credited to British Foreign and Commonwealth Office stating that they are not aware of Nigeria brutality against Biafrans despite several protests and petitions that have been flooding their various offices across different countries of the world by Biafrans, Human Rights Organizations and some Members of the British Parliament.

In a written question dated 26th of April 2016 and tabled before the Foreign and Commonwealth Office by Charles Walker- a Conservative British MP (Member of Parliament) for Broxbourne who is also a renowned Human Rights activist, asking for the assessment of the brutality against Biafrans by the Nigerian government which may likely result into another civil war in Nigeria. The question reads-

"To ask the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs, what assessment he has made of the possible potential risk of civil war in Nigeria as a result of the policy of the government of Nigeria on Biafra."

Replying to the upright question, the Foreign and Commonwealth Office stated that their support for the territorial integrity of Nigeria and the government of Muhammadu Buhari remains unshakeable. They however denied knowledge of any brutality by Nigerian government against Biafrans even as it stated its unreserved support to the establishment of grazing reserves or routes for Fulani herdsmen as a means to curb their terrorism across Nigeria.

"We do not assess that there is institutionalised persecution of the Igbo (Biafrans) or any other people by the Nigerian authorities"

We are not aware of patterns of land confiscation in Nigeria by the Nigerian government. Nigeria does face the challenge of inter-communal violence between farmers and herdsmen over land, farming rights, grazing routes and access to water. We are aware that the Nigerian legislature is currently debating a bill on grazing routes and reserves for Nigerian herdsmen. Part of that focuses on balancing the rights of land owners with the requirements of herder communities"

"Through our development assistance, the UK supports initiatives to reduce these conflicts and build bridges within communities."- stated James Duddridge, a minister at the Foreign and Commonwealth Office and a conservative MP for Rochford and Southend East.

Biafrans and numerous other Nigerians have opposed heavily the proposed grazing bill which is allegedly being sponsored secretly by Islamic Jihadists in the North and currently being considered by the Nigerian Legislative chambers.

Also numerous Human Rights Organisations such as Amnesty International, Human Rights Watch and Inter-Society which is the most vocal in Nigeria has released several statements condemning the numerous Rights abuses against Biafrans which include the shooting and killing of unarmed Biafran activists. Nnamdi Kanu- the leader of Indigenous People of Biafra, together with thousands of other Biafran activist currently under incarceration by the dictatorial government of Muhammadu Buhari.

The British Foreign and Commonwealth Office cannot deny receiving on a daily basis atleast 10,000 petitions with pictorial evidences depicting the massacre of Biafrans by Nigerian armed forces on various social media platforms including facebook, twitter and most times, via e-mail. They also can't deny receiving thousands of calls from Biafrans all over the world while their various headquarters across different countries of the world can't throw to the dust the fact that Biafrans have been flooding their various offices in protest against the incarceration of Nnamdi Kanu and what Biafrans are going through in Nigeria.

It is however ridiculous that the British government have chosen to turn their back on the predicament of Biafrans in Nigeria under the guise of securing the territorial integrity of their offspring- Nigeria.

It is disheartening and hypocritical that the British government has valued the non-existing territorial integrity of Nigeria over the life of millions of Biafrans who are under subjugation in Nigeria.

It should be noted that this was the same stance of the British government during the war that claimed the lives of about 6million Biafrans with about 3million being innocent children that were starved to death. It is crystal clear that the then British government of Harold Wilson aided Nigeria through arms which were used for the genocide against Biafrans during the war.

Today, history is repeating itself as the British government through their Foreign and Commonwealth Office has proven to be hell-bent in ensuring that Biafrans are further subjugated in Nigeria to the extent of overlooking the numerous Rights abuses against Biafrans by their darling Nigerian government.

It is therefore imperative to bring it to the notice of the honourable MP Charles Walker and numerous others who has recently risen to ask questions pertaining to the sufferings of Biafrans at the hand of the Nigerian government, that the recent reply given to Mr. Charles Walker by the Foreign and Commonwealth Office dating the 4th of May is nothing short of an intentional subversion of the true state of Biafrans in Nigeria. The recent comment by Muhammadu Buhari the Nigerian President that he would rather die than see Biafrans have their freedom and refusal to watch the video of the mass killing of Biafrans by his security forces is an attestation that Biafrans are the prey in Nigeria.

Our lands are on the verge of being taken away from us through a spurious grazing reserve bill which would make it possible for the Jihadists and terrorists at the helm of affairs in Nigeria to over-run Biafrans and accomplish their Islamisation agenda.

I want to bring it to the notice of all good British citizens who cares to know, that a deadly war is brewing in Nigeria because the patience of Biafrans is being exhausted. If the Foreign and Commonwealth Office who were supposed to caution Nigerian government of its numerous rights abuses against Biafrans are now the ones advising Nigerian political leaders to do everything in their power to keep Nigeria as one (even if it means wiping Biafrans away from the surface of the earth and taking over their land for grazing), then Biafrans have no other option than to take laws into their own hands and protect themselves from a genocidal conspiracy of the world.

The British people should know that there is definitely a ticking time bomb in Nigeria, of which if it is allowed to explode, will push millions of refugees that will outnumber that of Syria across Europe and beyond.

The British government should make haste while the sun shines by dissolving the contraption they created in Africa called Nigeria. The only apology we demand from Britain for aiding Nigeria to commit genocide against our people during the war is to appreciate the truthful fact that the freedom of Biafra is due and absolutely indispensable.
