[Videos] Aba BUBBLES for Biafra and Nnamdi Kanu

Aba BUBBLES for Biafra

Some fierce looking and unclad young men in their mid twenties were spotted in Aba today. The young men fully emblazoned with Biafran flag took over the streets in Aba chanting war songs and Daring Nigeria Soldiers, who look on helplessly.

Hundreds of thousands of protesters estimated to be close to a million took to the streets in Aba, the Abia State capital, yesterday, to demand the release of Nnamdi Kanu, the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB).

The protesters carried placards with slogans such as “Biafra or death” and waved the Biafran flag.

Others wore T-shirts and caps with the image of Nnamdi Kanu, who doubles as the director of Radio Biafra. Some sang freedom songs and displayed the Biafran pound currency.

“Getting our leader out of detention is our immediate concern, but ultimately we want to be free from Nigeria,” IPOB’s Abia coordinator, Ikechukwu Ugwuoha, told the crowds.
