The Ohanaeze Youth Council (OYC), claims it commenced negotiation with the Federal Government for a political solution to the issues surrounding the protests by IPOB and MASSOB, which will ultimately lead to an unconditional release of the detained leader of IPOB and promoter of Radio Biafra, Nnamdi Kanu.

To this end, the leadership of OYC met with the Federal Government in Abuja, Tuesday, through the Minister of Youth Development, Mr. Solomon Dalong.

According to the National President of OYC, Mazi Okechukwu Isiguzoro, the meeting looked at political solution to the problem of the agitations of the pro-Biafra groups and also the release of their leader, Kanu.
