Why Ohaneze and co have no CREDIBILITY and RESPECT among Biafrans

Ohanaeze is filled with the so called Igbo leaders who destroyed the land. The likes of Ike Nwachukwu who helped Nigerian soldiers to massacre Biafrans in Asaba were used by the Northern Oligarchy to destroy all the good works Sam Mbakwe (PhD) did in Imo State.
Between 1921 and 1967, when the British introduced the western style of democracy into Nigeria, Igboland was very impregnable to their collective political enemies. The Nnamdi Azikiwe-led National Council of Nigeria and the Cameroons (NCNC), riding on the back of the Igbo Union, held sway in the entire land. Every effort made by the Hausa-Fulani-controlled Northern Peoples Congress (NPC) was rebuffed by Igbo men with integrity and values. Then Igbos were respected as intelligent, brave, hardworking, honest and conscientious men and women.

However, things fell apart between 1967 and 1968. Many Igbo-speaking Biafrans and other non-Igbo speaking Biafrans who for one reason or the other were easily compromised by the then Nigerian government. With the extreme hardship that followed the first Biafra-Nigeria War, many more Igbo-speaking Biafrans were easily bought over. In a situation where many Biafrans were giving only £20 to start off life, £1000 could have meant a lot to some people without integrity. No doubt that almost 80% of the first set of rich men in Biafra, soon after the war were those who sabotaged Biafrans. They were rewarded with political positions and pecuniary benefits. That became a norm.

At last the Hausa Fulani have gained entry into the dreaded Igboland. And with their new sets of 'boy boy' Igbo men, who can sell their conscience for paltry sum of money, they Hausa-Fulani Oligarchy set out to balkanise Biafra or so they thought.

Ukpabi Asika - The Hausa-Fulani Slave boy who corrupted the land

There were a number of Biafrans who sabotaged the first attempt at restoring Biafran Republic. Some of them such as Emmanuel Ifeajuna, Philip Alale were identified, tried and punished. Others however, escaped the justice of the people, but they however, did not escape the judgement of God. Some of these prominent saboteurs include Anthony Ukpabi Asika, General Hilary Njoku, Kingsley Ozurumba Mbadiwe, General Ike Nwachukwu, and Christopher Mojekwu.

Asika was about the most prominent Biafran saboteur. As western-backed Nigerian forces were killing millions of Biafran children and women, Ukpabi Asika was in league with the enemy massacring his people.

At the declaration of the Biafra Republic, Ukpabi Asika was among the few Biafran intellectuals who stayed back in Western Nigeria. He opposed the Biafran Republic, despite the fact that his kith and kin were being massacred all over the country. While the war was raging in his homeland, Ukpabi Asika was in close meeting with the enemy - Yakubu Gowon the then head of State of the Nigerian government.

By the time Enugu fell into the hands of Nigerian forces, Ukpabi Asika was appointed the Administrator of East Central State, in October 1967. Undoubtedly, Ukpabi Asika’s lineage were tainted with Hausa blood. According to his son Obi Asika, in an interview with Punch in June 2013, “He [Ukpabi Asika] was born in Barkin Ladi, Jos. My grandfather was born in Zungeru. My grandmother’s father married his wife from Yola in the 1890s and moved to Onitsha. So I had people in my family who spoke Fulfude, till today. So for us, it has always been about Nigeria. That’s the abiding influence.” – Asika’s son
After the war ended in 1970, Asika essentially became the Governor of East Central State, and was responsible for administering a large proportion of the former Biafran territories. Asika was the governor in charge when Biafrans, despite millions they had in their bank accounts were each given paltry £20 to start life, after a devastating war. Asika was disappointed by the Nigerian government who intentionally starved his government of necessary funds to rebuild the region as he had expected. Nigerian government further disappointed him when it created new states, despite Asika’s strong opposition to it.
Ukpabi Asika, Hausa-Fulani NPN, the corruption of Igbo land and the Ohaneze connection

Asika corrupted Igboland by creating the current set of Biafran elites who currently believe they can only make it in life by becoming lackeys of the Northern Oligarchy. Because of extreme poverty and hardship in the land after the war, many of these elites were bought over by Asika to work in his government. Such elites were instrumental to the entrenchment of the National Party of Nigeria (NPN), which was a northern Oligarchy party led by Shehu Shagari. The NPN replaced the Ahmadu Bello-led Northern Peoples Congress (NPC) that challenged Zik's political ambition.

These group of elites have helped in the enslavement of Biafrans in Nigeria. They castigate their people for paltry monetary gains. They astutely stand against the emergence of Biafra as they believe they will be made to pay for the atrocities they committed against their land. Most of these Hausa-Fulani lackeys control the so called Ohaneze Ndi Igbo. Some of them who were coopted into Asika's government was Professor Ukwu .I. Ukwu, who fought in the Biafra-Nigeria war. He left as a Lieutenant-Colonel in the Biafran army and ended up serving in Asika's government as the Commissioner for Trade and Industry, and Finance from 1970 to 1975.

There were many others such as Martin Elechi, the former governor of Ebonyi State, who worked with Asika, Igwe Alex Nwokedi, who worked as the Press Secretary to the Head of State during the military regime of Olusegun Obasanjo in 1979. It is quite easy to identify some of these people who sabotaged Biafra. Over 80% of Biafrans who served in the Yakubu Gowon's, Murtala Mohammed's, Olusegun Obasanjo's (first regime), and Shehu Shagari's government were the saboteurs. Men without shame and honour such as the discredited Vincent Ogbulafor, the former National Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), who had no shame and principle decamping to the opposition All Progressives Congress, APC when the going became tough. Ogbulafor cannot point at anything he did in Igboland despite having served as Minister of Economic Matters, Presidency (1999-2000) and Minister of Economic Matters & Special Projects (2001). Yet such come out to claim Igbo leaders.
Ukpabi Asika, Hausa-Fulani NPN, the corruption of Igboland and the Ohaneze connection

From NPN these men and women joined the Hausa-Fulani-led National Republican Convention (NRC), after which they decided to form a club that will be masquerading  them as Igbo leaders, to make the job of collecting money from their paymasters and misrepresentation of Biafran interest easier. The club they formed is Ohanaeze Ndi Igbo.

No doubt that since inception, Ohaneze cannot name one concrete achievement it has brought to Igboland other their personal aggrandisement.

From that point forwards, these men sold the spirit and soul of Biafra for smelling 'naira and kobo'. Today, virtually every political office holder in Biafra is installed by the Northern Oligarchy. They have etched it into the minds of their kith and kin that you can only succeed politically if you prostitute yourself to the Hausa-Fulani oligarchy.

Whereas their mates such as Theophilus Danjuma are 'drinking' crude oil in billions of dollars, these so called 'Igbo Leaders' settle for crumbs as low as N20 million to the detriment of their people.

They have now lined up once again to collect money from Muhammadu Buhari to speak against Biafra. That is why these men have never spoken up against the injustice being meted out at their people. Whereas Muhammadu Buhari spoke against attak on Boko Haram, these Igbo 'leaders' find it difficult to say that the arrest and unlawful detention of Nnamdi Kanu is wrong. These men are too scared to say that the invasion of Biafra by Fulani headsmen destroying lives and peoples livelihood is wrong. These men and women cannot condemn the destruction of the industries their land.

To these old men, everything is viewed from monetary perspectives or potential pecuniary benefit. They have been corrupted with the 'naira and kobo' mentality and can say whatever their highest bidder tells them to say even to the detriment of their people.

Such mentality could be seen today among the likes of Ejike Mbaka, Chris Ngige, Rochas Okorocha and Ogbonnaya Onu who are jumping up because they were made ministers, which is actually a constitutional right, when their Hausa-Fulani counterparts have cornered every other juicy political position in Nigeria.

Thank God for the coming of Nnamdi Kanu and the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB). Because many Biafran youths have been cured of this malaise. Biafran youths now understand that life is greater than money, Freedom is greater than 'naira and kobo'. This is the reason they have locked up their businesses to come out on the streets to demand for JUSTICE and FREEDOM.

The Biafan youths are BAYING for Biafra and no force on the earth can stop this movement now.

Indeed it is TOO late for the Nigeria government to stop this Biafran Tsunami as coined by Asari Dokubo!

Please share this to help educate Biafrans!!!
