The 'Wailing Wailers' reject Soludo's application to join club of Buhari's critics

The 'Wailing Wailers' reject Soludo's application to join club of Buhari's critics
The 'Wailing Wailers' club of Nigeria have rejected Prof Charles Soludo's attempt to join their association.

Soludo wishes to join the 'Wailing Wailers' a monika for Buhari's rabid critics. Soludo is following the footsteps of Oby Ezekwesiri and Femi Falana, who heavily criticised President Goodluck Jonathan with the hope that they would be rewarded with ministerial appointments in Buhari's government. To their chagrin, Buhari ignored them making them bitter.

Soludo the former Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN), faulted the implementation of the Treasury Single Account (TSA) by the Nigerian Government as well as the policy regime of foreign exchange restrictions of the CBN.

Soludo directly attacked Buhari when he stated: “As one reads the confusing statements from government in the media: ‘We won’t devalue’, ‘we won’t devalue for now’, and the emotional debate about ‘nationalism’ around issues of import ‘bans’ and capital controls, one wonders whether it is still a ‘short-term crisis response’ or a permanent shift back to the old policy regime of pre-1986. Even if the government initially intended it as a short-term measure, interest groups have emerged and are lobbying to make the policy shift permanent. To add to the confusion, the policy is communicated as a “directive” from PMB as widely publicised in the media.” (Read full statement below)

However some diehard Buhari's critics, mocked Soludo, for his attack of Buhari after he lost out of the ministerial appointment.

Some of the reactions that trailed Soludo's attack on Buhari are listed below:

    • This chameleon has finally joined the wailers camp .Obasanjo used and dumped you,the Ota man promised you finance minister or cbn governor, and you sold your soul to the devil now the chicken is coming back to roost. Welcome to the wailers camp, ask falana and Oby Ezekwesili to explain the rules of engagement in wailers camp.

The truth has finally chased Soludo out because his dream of been appointed the finance minister was dashed.
Nigeria is under siege and there aren't anything anyone can do about it !

Did you hear him say that the sorry state we are in is not as a result of fall in oil price but a deliberate government policy.
When I said that last administration deliberate on things before fully implementing them, people called me names as if I'm not entitled to my opinion. I said that last administrated started TSA but did not fully implement it as dealing with humans requires constant retooling of policy and draconically apply a rule as if the world is ending tomorrow.
TSA is good but good should have implemented it in phases and not a total directive. Buhari have messed up Nigeria with his 20th century governance style.

Look my dear, I don't think that Buhari deliberately want people to suffer. The difference between an expert and an illiterate like Buhari is that an expert always includes the " human factor" while an illiterate takes every thing he is convinced of as a law of God that cannot be changed. Hear this, one of my class mates in high school was kicked out of our Geography class because he called our teacher a liar. Because our teacher was telling us about different time zones. His own illiterate father had told him that morning is morning everywhere, and that our teacher's father was a liar and that it runs in their family". My classmate believed it and refused to back down then. It cost hm his waec. He is still regreting it today.Never underrate the power and effect of education. That is Buhari's major problem.

How soon has this Buhari's "body language" started disappointing!
It's already disappointing on fuel: no availability and high cost when seen.
Presently, it's also disappointing on electricity supply.
Equally, it's disappointing on our economy and security: no light and Boko Haram are still on rampage.
Part of Kwara state annexed by Benin republic.
APC what has happened to Buhari's "body language" that kick started this regime in earnest?

Useless man, after you back him, calling GEJ administration all sorts of name thinking you will be Finance Minister, he dumped you, here you are running your mouth irresponsibly. Nonsense

I am just trying to imagine how Buhari's face will be when he is reading this peace. This whole thing will look and sound like Latin to him. This is exactly the same economic policy he pursued as a dictator and it was a disaster. This one will even be worse than the first.
Soludo,it looks like losing out on the list of noise makers made you to abandon ship and speak up?
The truth is that if Buhari fights corruption as he pledged, he will be alone.
I am just laughing. My father told us when we're little that "if a native doctor is consulting the oracle for you, that you should be consulting the same oracle in your head" so that you are not deceived.
                Humans are funny being.
                Good morning Soludo!

The thing is that everybody is watching Buhari while this country's economy slides and nobody is bold enough to tell him the truth. God will not let his children suffer. Osibanjo is there and all we hear is i am fighting corruption and it is all about corruption and government is almost coming to a halt. The newly appointed ministers are so obviously rubber stamps with the exception of Fashola who i believe ight be bold enough to speak when necessary. Falana and co are all silent and stupidly watching while this government disobeys court orders and make a mockery of our constitution. Nigeria has fallen for the greatest fraud in history. Even OBJ failed Nigeria by his actions of late. Just a pity.
