Igbo businesses and investments in danger in Lagos following Oba of Lagos threats

Igbo businesses and investments in danger in Lagos following Oba of Lagos threats
Following the recent threats made against Ndigbo in Lagos State, by the Oba of Lagos, Rilwanu Akiolu, The Biafran has gathered that Igbo businesses in Lagos State are at great risk.

Miffed by the fact that Igbos got three Federal House of Representatives slots from Lagos State, Oba Akiolu resorted to threats against Ndigbo. He was quoted as telling Igbos in Lagos that "On Saturday, if anyone of you goes against Ambode who I picked, that is your end. If it doesn't happen within seven days, just know that I am a bastard and it is not my father who gave birth to me."

This can only mean one thing. Igbo businesses and investments in Lagos are currently in grave danger. The Oba could mobilise Yoruba miscreants to destroy the investments of Igbos in order to give credibility to his threats. The Oba has desecrated his 'throne' by stooping this low. He must be made to face the music.

Igbos in Lagos are therefore advised to be on their guard. Law enforcement agencies should arrest the monarch immediately for this blatant electoral crime - intimidation of voters - to forestall the breakdown of law and order.

Ifeanyi Uba, Chairman of the Transformation Ambassadors of Nigeria (TAN), which worked for President Goodluck and the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has raised the alarm over the threat to his life, family and businesses in Lagos, owing to his support and investment in the PDP and its governorship candidate in Lagos State, Mr. Jimi Agbaje. He stated: “My life, my family, and my businesses in Lagos are under severe threat in Lagos State because of the role I am playing in PDP and in my support for Jimi Agbaje.”It is becoming increasingly obvious that the fabric of the so called Nigerian unity is getting shredded by the day.
