The Rivers State governor, Nyesom Wike has urged Nnamdi Kanu, the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) not to embark on a planned evangelisation trip to Lagos State. It has been announced in past couple of days that Kanu was planning to storm Lagos State and Kaduna State to speak to Biafrans living in those places.

Of course you should know the man I am talking about, retired soldier and serial contestant for Imo Governorship under our "Igbo party". When this news was broadcast over a radio station in Lagos a caller with Yoruba name abused the man and told him to take the project to Igbo land and help develop his area.

Barely six months after a Bristow Helicopter plunged into a Lagos Lagoon, at Oworonshoki, a settlement on the foot of the Third Mainland Bridge, in Lagos, August last year, killing the pilot and some other passengers, another of the company's choppers met the same fate on Wednesday.

It has emerged that some Islamic terrorists were arrested in Lagos and Ogun, two prominent states in the Southwestern part of Nigeria by the Nigerian military. This was disclosed by the Nigerian Army. Before this, it has been believed that Islamic terrorists are contained in the northern parts of Nigeria.

The Nigerian Army and Navy said on Sunday that it had taken over the security of the NNPC pipelines in the Lagos area from the militant Yoruba group Oodua Peoples Congress (OPC), and craved the maximum cooperation of host communities.
Col. Mustapha Anka, the Director, Army Public Relations, 81 Division of the Nigerian Army in Lagos, disclosed this in an interview with the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN).

In an apparent show of hatred, bitterness and envy, Yoruba youths took to the streets of Lagos yesterday, to protest against Igbo-Speaking Biafrans. In a shallowly vieled open threat the youths warned that that any campaign that Lagos is “no man’s land’ will be met with a measure of mass resistance. Leading the protest were thousands of Yoruba youths under the aegis of Oodua Nationalist Coalition, (ONAC) and the Pan-Yoruba National Alliance, (PAYNA).

Oba Akiolu has been in the eye of the storm since he told visiting Igbo chiefs in his palace over the weekend that any Igbo who does not vote his preferred candidate during this Saturday’s governorship election in the state would die in the Lagos Lagoon within seven days.

The Ohanaeze Youth Council (OYC), the youth wing of Ohanaeze Ndigbo, the apex socio-cultural organisation of Ndigbo, has issued a 48-hour ultimatum to the Oba of Lagos, Alhaji Rilwan Akiolu, to “retract and unconditionally apologise to Ndigbo” over his alleged death threat to Ndigbo living in Lagos should they fail to vote for the All Progressives Congress (APC) governorship candidate, Akinwumi Ambode, on April 11.

The Oba of Lagos is intimidating Igbos in Lagos State, Igbos living in Lagos were told on Sunday to vote for the governorship candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Mr. Akinwumi Ambode, or else they will die in the lagoon.

According to Scan News a visibly angry Oba of Lagos, Rilwan Akiolu, in an unconcealed threat, stated that he was not ready to beg the Igbos, but if they repeated what they did on March 28 when they voted for the presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), President Goodluck Jonathan, then they should be ready for the consequences.

The criminal foundation of the Tinubu Empire, which has held residents of Lagos and by extension the Southwestern region of Nigeria on stranglehold for more than 15 years was laid bare in a recent documentary of the AIT tagged Lion of the Bourdillion: Unmasking the Real Ti­nubu (watch below). The exposé, which seriously rattled Tinubu outlined how Tinubu has virtually turned Lagos into his personally estate, from which he had amassed stupendous amount of wealth.
