| The Great Liberator! Igbo Youth Movement confers Nnamdi Kanu with the greatest award in Igboland |
Nnamdi Kanu the leader of Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) has been honored with the award of Great Liberator with the power of truth. This award was received before dignitaries and leaders of the Igbo-speaking part of Biafra. The award was giving to him based on his works and sacrifice which had catapulted Biafran to the limelights. Kanu has become the greatest man in Biafra after Ojukwu. Even while in detention, he is being revered and his message gaining wider support with leaders and people across the length and breadth of Biafra finally coming to terms with his message.
When Radio Biafra came into existence, people were critical of the message of Nnamdi Kanu, some termed it propaganda while some said it is entirely falsehood. Time has vindicated Nnamdi Kanu as everything and body can confirm that his predictions were nothing but correct. To some, he is now a prophet and others he is a wise leader who saw tomorrow but to us, he is the voice of ChiukwuOkikeAbiama.
“We proudly Honor Mazi Nnamdi Kanu with the award of Great Liberator for steadfastly and resolutely destroying falsehood with power of truth” Elliot Uku, the President of IYM declared. The event hall erupted, people shouting in solidarity and clapping endlessly; it took them by surprise and also took us by surprise. Speaking on the award, the President IYM noted
“Despite the fact we don’t see division as the ultimate solution, we shall not dispute the fact that Nnamdi Kanu has liberated the people of Biafra” he explained that everything Nnamdi said has come to reality which includes the onslaught by Hausa/Fulani and the silence of the government.
He continued on the line that all this while Nnamdi Kanu has been truthful and posited that he represents truth and was arrested for truth and conquering lies. He noted that Nnamdi Kanu’s agitation was caused by Nigerian leaders and hence something is responsible for his agitation, Nnamdi Kanu should be released and the cause of his agitation be addressed.

| Annkio Briggs who came from Ijaw and who was also awarded for speaking truth, reacting to the award one Mr Oguno said “There is no more South-South and South-East, the falsehood or lie over the years that we are different people has been made open. Nnamdi Kanu has indeed liberated us” he said. |
Meanwhile, this is a nice move in the right direction as the people are beginning to embrace the message of Nnamdi Kanu. The arrest and continued incarceration of the leader of Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, has shown it is a war against truth. We are coming close to a truth that we shall all die for someday.
Nnamdi Kanu raised no stick, pebble or arm against the government of Nigeria; this is a man that stood a radio station instead of an army. Indeed, truth is greater than any army and this is why Buhari cannot win in this battle. We are identifying with Nnamdi Kanu on daily basis and as the people are clustering and realizing, it is important to note that the effect will be bigger because continued incarceration of Kanu is elevating him to a place no one can reach.
