Don't be deceived! Buhari has started the second Biafra-Nigeria war

Don't be deceived! Buhari has started the second Biafra-Nigeria war
A lot of people believe that a war starts when fighter jets, bombers, tanks etc are rolled out. However, in reality war starts a long time before the tankers are rolled out or the military jets begin to bomb.

Contrary to popular belief that the first Biafra-Nigeria war started on 6th July. 1967, when Yakubu Gowon started the so called police action against the Biafra Republic, the war started more than a year before that date. Infact, as far back as May 1966, the Hausa-Fulani had begun the war against Biafrans, who missed the signs.

On 29th May, 1966, Hausa-Fulani soldiers and civilians unleashed mayhem on Biafrans in Northern Nigeria. That was the beginning of the pogrom that led to hundreds of thousand of deaths of Igbos, Ijaws, Efik, Ibibio and other the then Eastern Region people. The Supreme Military Council set up a tribunal to look into the causes of these unprovoked acts at murder and pillage and determine what compensations might be paid to the victims.

The Northern Emirs declared their intention to pull Northern Nigeria out of the Federation rather than face the tribunal. Even General Aguiyi Ironsi, who was the then Head of State missed the signs. That singular mistake cost him his life few months later on 29th July, 1966. this was two months after the May 29 pogrom, and four days before the tribunal was due to commence its sitting. Subsequently, the real pogrom against Eastern Nigerians residing in the country began. Major-General Aguiyi-Ironsi and his host, Lt-Col. Francis Fajuyi,, were kidnapped at Ibadan and murdered. This time Northern Nigerian soldiers acted in concert with Northern civilians. Defenceless men, women, and children were shot down or hacked to death; some were burnt, and some buried alive. Women and young girls were ravished with unprecedented bestiality; unborn children were torn out of the womb of their mothers.

As soon as Gowon took over power, the plan to exterminate Biafrans across Nigeria was intensified. Part of the plan was to kill every Easterner in the Nigerian military, so that when they come after the civilians there would be no one to confront them. The killing of Easterners in the Nigerian military will also aid the Hausa-Fulani Oligarchy to consolidate power.

This plan was implemented on 29th September, 1966. Almost 70% of Eastern Nigerian soldiers were targeted and killed. Igbo civilians were also not spared. This forced mass relocation of Easterners from the Northern Nigeria. Tension was intensified across Nigeria and it became evident that a full blown war was looming. Efforts to forestall the looming war failed, when Gowon was misled to jettison agreements reached at the Aburi Conference (Ghana) in January 1967.

Gowon's failure to implement Aburi Accord the cause of Biafra-Nigeria War

Persecution of Easterners continued and by  30th May, 1967, General Odimegwu Ojukwu was mandated by the Eastern Region Consultative Assembly, to declare the independence of the Republic of Biafra, in order to safeguard lives and properties of Biafrans that have so been severely dealt with.

A ny keen observer would know that the same ingredients that led to the first war are already in place currently. As a matter of fact, 'General' Muhammadu Buhari has intensified it with his actions and rhetorics. Unarmed Biafran youths are continuously being murdered by Nigeria's security forces at the orders of Buhari. Fulani terrorists having been encouraged by the inactions of Buhari to invade Biafran communities and unleash mayhem even in their bedrooms. Back then in 1966, the killings were limited to the Northern parts of Nigeria. Currently, the soldiers of the Northern oligarchy masquerading as herdsmen have been emboldened to kill Biafrans right in their bedrooms in their villages in Eastern Nigeria.

The Nigerian military is also preparing to launch a full blown war against the Niger Delta region. Their strategy is to have total control of the oil-rich part of Biafra before the war snowballs.

Nigeria to begin another atrocious war to resist breakaway NIger Delta Republic

To forestall any counter strategy, Buhari only few days ago sacked up to 200 top military officers of Biafran extraction in the Nigerian Army, The list includes Major Generals, Brigadiers and Colonels. The 2016 ethnic purging of Biafrans from the Nigerian Army is akin to the killing of Eastern Nigerian soldiers in 29th July 1966 and 29th September, 1966.

It is only a matter of time before the 2nd Biafra-Nigeria war is officially declared. Don't till you become a victim or statistics. Buhari is the aggressor and he has started the war.
