Boko Haram FINALLY pledges allegiance to ISIS

Boko Haram FINALLY pledges allegiance to ISIS
Nigerian terrorist group Boko Haram has at last pledged allegiance to Islamic State (IS), according to an audio statement.

The message, which could not immediately be verified, was posted on Boko Haram's Twitter account and appeared to be by the group's leader.

Boko Haram had been carrying out terrorists campaign to impose Islamic rule across Nigeria. ISIS had been awaiting the pledge to allegiance by Boko Haram. Soon after the Libyan terrorists declared alleagince to ISIS, the group was reported to have stated they were expecting 'good news' from West Africa, in what experts viewed as refering to Boko Haram formally joining the Islamic State.

IS has forged links with other militant groups across North Africa and the Arabian Peninsula. In November IS leader Abu-Bakr al-Baghdadi accepted pledges of allegiance from jihadists in Egypt, Libya, Algeria, Yemen and Saudi Arabia. In January, militants in Afghanistan and Pakistan announced that they were forming an IS province.

In what appears to be an SOS to ISIS,  the Boko Haram leader reportedly said the group would “hear and obey” the Caliph “in times of difficulty and prosperity”.
Boko Haram has been receiving crushing blow from the combined joint military forces of Nigeria and neighbouring countries and may have ISIS as their last resort.
