How Amaechi funded Buhari's campaign: Surreptitiously wired billions into DOGGY accounts few days before APC primaries |
This week, the indigenes of Rivers State took these allegations a step further by producing documents, evidence and facts which show that about $105 million was actually moved from the Rivers State’s Power Sales Assets account with Access Bank to a number of companies who interestingly share a common business address.
Using full-page advertorials (with signed affidavits) published in reputable national dailies such as ThisDay Newspapers (of August 3) and The Guardian (of August 04, 2015, Pages 60 & 61).
They gave details of the various companies to which these monies were channeled as provided below:
What is most worrisome about the movements of these funds is the claim by officials such as the Accountant General of Rivers State as well as the Directors and Permanent Secretaries in the Ministries of Power and Finance that they knew nothing about this particular transaction was done!
The various groups, speaking on behalf of Rivers people have prayed the Buhari Government to ensure that whatever monies the Rotimi Amaechi siphoned from the coffers of Rivers State should be retrieved urgently and all those who conspired to perpetrate the raping of Rivers State in such a manner should all be brought to book immediately.
It is their belief that General Buhari will do the right thing.
