An eyewitness has revealed some of the details of the brazen but long-foretold invasion of communities in Enugu. A combined Fulani and Boko Haram terrorists masquerading as herdsmen ambushed several Enugu communities including Ukpabi, Nimbo in Uzo-Uwani Local Government Area in the early hours of Monday slaughtering not less than 200 indigenous people of Biafra who are local farmers in the area.

This is the latest genocide of Biafrans with the overt and covert support of the Nigerian government.

An eyewitness who survived the dastardly attack, by fleeing to a neighbouring community narrated this to Biafran newsmen.  According to the young man who spoke on condition of anonymity, the residents of the community woke up in the early hours of today to see hundreds of the Fulani militants armed with AK-47 riffles, sharp matchets, charms and other sophisticated weapons.

"Its very early in the morning when we started hearing gunshots and people screaming.

"I decided to go and find out what the noise is all about with some of my friends, we didn't go far before we saw people dressed like Boko Haram and were slaughtering people like fowl." He disclosed.

Going further he said

"They started chasing us immediately they sighted us and we had to flee alerting other people. I currently don't know the faith of my friends who ran with me as everybody was scavenging [scampering] for safety."

Confirmed reports have it that the villagers are fleeing to neighbouring communities like Nkpologu and Uvuru for safety while several others are fleeing to Nsukka.

Police Relations officer in Enugu State confirmed this dastardly incident to Vanguard on telephone. Although he said that security is being beefed up in the area, the Fulani terrorists have already killed many people while several other survivors are severely injured.

Many houses including a catholic church in the communities have also been razed.
