Nnamdi Kanu's file disappears as Appeal Court sits

Nnamdi Kanu's file disappears as Appeal Court sits

The ongoing trial of Nnamdi Kanu, the leader of Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) took a shambolic turn today when his casefile was nowhere to be found, forcing the court to adjourn.

Nnamdi Kanu's legal team had appealed certain decisions of Justice John Tsoho, who IPOB believes is biased. Some of the contentious decisions were Justice Tsoho's reversal of himself by allowing a secret trial for Kanu and his denial of bail to Kanu.

The disappearance of Kanu's file shows that Nigeria is deploying delay tactics as they are yet to get any evidence to convict Kanu.

At the commencement of hearing, Justice Moore Adumein who arrived at 10:03am after a long delay in his chambers, promptly informed the court that the appeal proceedings will no longer hold today, as Kanu's casefile was not brought to the court. He subsequently adjourned the case to Thursday 5th May 2016.

Nigeria gave a date for Nnamdi Kanu's hearing and at the appointed date being today they did not bring the case file to appeal court hearing???
UK MP's and US Senators indeed all the international community should be duly notified that Nigeria FG is deliberately delaying the trial. What is Buhari and the corrupt judiciary afraid of?
Did they postpone today's hearing with the thought that the international observes may leave before the next hearing??
