Amnesty report on Biafra killings frightens Nigeria
Amnesty International an NGO concerned with human rights violations today released a damning report about the violations carried out against pro-Biafrans.

It would be recalled that yesterday, TMnews published that the NGO’s report would be published today.




According to information gathered from International Business Times (IBT) UK, it accuses the military of rough handling and killing protesters as the marched in support of the release of Nnamdi Kanu.

A team of officials from the NGO are currently on the ground to gather more information and has accused the military of heavy cover-ups.

The military currently denies the killings that occurred in the south eastern Nigeria and explained that they were intervening in what would have become a deadly event as some protesters were seen with arms.

Amnesty International also went on to condemn the jailing of the Biafra leader without bail and for such a long time. Emphasis was made to the series of unlawful detentions or prolonged detentions made by the DSS.
