General Muhammadu Buhari, will tomorrow, 3rd of December, 2015 leave the shores of the country for South Africa where he is expected to participate in a Forum on China/Africa Cooperation (FOCAC).
This was disclosed today in a statement issued by the Special Assistant to the President on Media and Publicity, Garba Shehu. According to Shehu, the president during the visit will have a meeting with Chinese president, Xi Jinping, on how to re-commence stalled rail projects under new terms that would see China providing nearly all the finance required.
The Minister of Foreign Affairs, Geoffrey Onyema; Minister of Transportation, Chubuike Amaechi; and the Minister of Industry, Trade and Investment, Okechukwu Enelamah, are those that would accompany him on the trip.
