Let the candles burn! All is set for 2015 Biafra Memorial Day

Nnamdi Kanu, Director of Radio Biafra and leader of the IPOB addressing Biafran in Enugu during last years Memorial ceremony
Forty eight years ago, precisely on 30th of May, 1967, the Republic of Biafra was officially declared a sovereign state by the Head of State, General Chukwuemeka Odimegwu Ojukwu. Prior the announcement, the 2nd Consultative Assembly and the Advisory Committee of Chiefs and Elders consisting of representatives from each administrative division of the old Eastern Region, has given him the mandate to make the pronouncement.

All is set for 2015 Biafra Remembrance/Memorial Day
Tomorrow, Biafrans all over the world will commemorate this historic event by remembering those who died for the Biafra cause.

The Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), led by Nnamdi Kanu, in conjunction with Radio Biafra have put in place necessary arrangements for the smooth running of the Biafra Remembrance. Biafrans in every part of the globe will be gathering in prominent cities such as Washington DC, Ontario, London, Tokyo, Berlin etc for this iconic but solemn event.

Back home in Biafra, the main event will take place at Aba (last years was at Enugu).

It should be recalled that millions of Biafra gathered all over the world for the same event last year.

Long Live Biafra!

Long Live our foreign heroes!

Long Live Biafran Living heroes.
We shall always remember them!
