The series of massacre of Ndigbo in Nigeria from the forties up to the Nigeria-Biafra war which continued with the Boko Haram insurgency that killed thousands of Umuigbo, drove millions of them down to their Southern ancestral homes and further pursued and killed; with their women and daughters raped by armed Fulani herdsmen, etc, are serial sordid experiences of Ndigbo as a result of the seed of intense hatred sowed by the British and their agents in Nigeria.

America angling to breakup Nigeria –Tony Uranta

Tony Uranta suggests the United States is keen on the breakup of Nigeria. " I am beginning to suspect America. I will not be surprised if it is not part of a grand conspiracy to help destabilize or make sure Nigeria fails. Don’t forget that their prediction is around the corner – 2015, they said we will fail."
BY WILLY EYA

Tony Uranta is a former member of the National Dialogue Committee and Secretary of the United Niger Delta Energy Development Security Strategy. In this interview, he examined the ongoing war against Boko Haram, alleging US conspiracy to make Nigeria a failed state. Excerpts:
What is your reaction to the continuous terrorists’ bombardment of Nigeria?
I am very happy that you used the word ‘terrorists’ rather than the word ‘insurgents’ as it is being very wrongly used by even army officers and retired generals. You can understand from their expressions that they don’t understand the difference between insurgency and war and terrorism. An insurgent is a man who takes up arms to prove a point within a state, staying within a state, through his being discontent. The Niger Delta situation could aptly be termed an insurgency.

"We are past time for denial and pride!" US calls Nigerian authorities liars for denying that Bama has fallen into Boko Haram's hands

Linda Thomas-Greenfield, United States Assistant Secretary of State: "We are past time for denial and pride!" As US calls Nigerian authorities liars for denying that Bama has fallen into Boko Haram's hands
The United States government has blatantly told the Nigerian authorities to stop lying about Boko Haram's emboldened stance and expansion of the Islamic Caliphate in the country. Speaking through her envoy, the United States stated that based on the situation on ground, the time for empty propaganda, denial and pride has gone. The United States Assistant Secretary of State, Linda Thomas-Greenfield, lamented that Boko Haram was operating freely in the North-East and had shown that it also had the capacity to strike in Kano, Abuja and elsewhere. This is coming on the string of denials that followed the capture of Bama by Boko Haram, evidenced by the fleeing of thousands residents to Maiduguri.
