ADF blast Igbo governors as it rejects proscription of IPOB and tagging as a terror group. Condemns Nigerian Army for desecration of the palace of Eze Kanu

ADF blast Igbo governors as it rejects proscription of IPOB and tagging as a terror group.
  • IPOB  is a serious organization pursuing a non-violent struggle for Self-Determination
ADF is aware of the strong-arm tactics and blackmail used by the Federal Government of Nigeria to force the Governors of the South-East to succumb to the invasion of Alaigbo after blackmailing the IPOB.
  • State Governors, State legislators and others in positions of authority answer to posterity
  • It is an abomination and the sign of the worst form of ill-will in Igbo culture and indeed in most other cultures in Nigeria to invade the Obi (palace) of a traditional leader. It is a sign of war.

Asaba Massacre: Address By Prof. T. Uzodinma Nwala President of Alaigbo Development Foundation (ADF) At the Occasion of the 50th Commemoration

Asaba Massacre: Address By Prof. T. Uzodinma Nwala President of Alaigbo Development Foundation (ADF) At the Occasion of the 50th Commemoration
The report below is the message the ADF President, Prof T. Uzodinma Nwala in the company of ADF delegation delivered at the occasion of the 50th Commemoration of the Asaba Massacre

The event marks the Asaba genocide, the series of gruesome cold-blooded killings of innocent civilians by troops of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, culminating in the “DANCE OF DEATH” at Ogbeosewah in Asaba on October 7th, 1967.

On that one day alone hundreds of helpless people were mowed down and buried dead or alive in mass graves.
It is no doubt, the darkest chapter in our history which we must continue to recall for the benefit of our children including those unborn.

The series of massacre of Ndigbo in Nigeria from the forties up to the Nigeria-Biafra war which continued with the Boko Haram insurgency that killed thousands of Umuigbo, drove millions of them down to their Southern ancestral homes and further pursued and killed; with their women and daughters raped by armed Fulani herdsmen, etc, are serial sordid experiences of Ndigbo as a result of the seed of intense hatred sowed by the British and their agents in Nigeria.

The signs are really bad: ADF urges Ohaneze and governors to call for emergency Imeobi meeting with 2 weeks over Igbo Quit Notice

Igbo Quit Notice: ADF urges Ohaneze and governors to call for emergency Imeobi meeting with 2 weeks
For the last one week, we in the Alaigbo Development Foundation (ADF) have monitored and followed the reactions to the Quit Notice issued to Ndigbo living in Northern Nigeria by the Arewa Youth Forum backed by notable leaders of the Northern Elders Forum.
ADF has refrained from joining issues with anyone on the Quit Notice. Rather we have monitored various reactions to the Quit Notice. Above all we have place d the whole episode within a historical context.

Don't be DECEIVED! The National Grazing Reserve Bill is LIVE at the National Assembly! ADF and InterSociety raise ALARM

ALARM! The National Grazing Reserve Bill is LIVE at the National Assembly
(Onitsha Nigeria, 4th May 2016)-Our attention has, again, been drawn to public statements credited to some serving Senators in Nigeria to the effect that the National Grazing Reserve Bill is not before the Upper Chamber or Senate of the National Assembly. The latest of such statements was credited to the Deputy Senate President, Senator Ike Ekweremadu during his recent outing in Enugu. We wish to state strongly that the referenced public statements are deceitful, diversionary, distractive and misleading. The implication of such statements is that there is nothing like “the National Grazing Reserve Bill 2008 & 2016” before the National Assembly of Nigeria; whether passive or active; or that the Bill is nonexistent.
