The Secretary to the Government of the Federation, SGF, Babachir Lawal, has urged leaders in the South East geo-political zone to call Biafra agitators to order.

The SGF condemned the activities of the groups, saying they threaten the peace of the country.

The embattled former governor of Rivers State has been reported to have jetted out of Nigeria to avoid insult and on going probe of 8 year reign in Rivers State. Urhobo Today reports that Rotimi Amaechi is also very furious with General Muhammadu Buhari, who denied him the position of the Secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF), which he has been eyeing.

The Rivers State Governor Barr.Nyesom Wike and some top leaders of the Rivers State caucus of the Peoples Democratic Party(PDP) yesterday at the Government House Portharcourt celebrated the announcement of the new Secretary to the Federal Government and other appointments, which precluded former Governor Rotimi Amaechi.

In continuance with his anti-Igbo stance, General Muhammadu Buhari rejected all Igbo-speaking servants of the Northern Oligarchy who assiduously worked for his emergence. Names such as Ogbonnaya Onu, Rotimi Amaechi, Chris Ngige, who were touted as potential candidates for the post of the Secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF) were rejected by Buhari.
