In Nigeria, referendum means WAR! It is very cowardly to challenge peaceful protesters demanding for a referendum to a war

In Nigeria, referendum means “war”. It is very cowardly to challenge peaceful protesters demanding for a referendum to a war
If you look at most of those equating the call for referendum to “war”, it is usually those who believe in their hearts that Nigeria is their personal or regional estate. What they are actually saying is: if you really want this your Biafra, come and fight; you will not get it through referendum. That is a very cowardly talk. How can you, with all the instruments of state coercion at your disposal, challenge a group of unarmed, peaceful agitators for a referendum to an all-out war? Is that how it is done in other countries?

The war has started while we are busy talking on Facebook!
We are nonetheless busy on FB blowing huge huge grammar while they are busy penetrating our lands. The warfare that FFK wrote about which you people are expecting in the future has long started. We have been long surrounded. There’s no bush in the South that they have not colonized.

Following the ongoing peaceful protest march by the Indigenous people of Biafra(IPOB) and the consequent commentaries from both sides of the elites, it is pertinent to enlighten us more on the right to self determination as opposed to secession because the public, even the most educated by Nigerian standard have a war insinuation of Biafra.

Resilience of Ndi Igbo from the eyes of an Urhobo man: How Ndi Igbo rose from £20 of 1970s and carcass of war
I am not Igbo. I am proud of my Urhobo. However, as a student of history, I wish to show just what these great people came/come against and yet thrive.

Okay, the incessant killings in the North will be glossed over so as to make this article not overly long. The civil war will also not be discussed.
