- Condemns Nigerian government wrong approach to the Biafran agitation
In line with Biafran consolidation strategies, the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, Nnamdi Kanu, today met with professor Ben Nwabueze at his home in Enugu State.
Professor Nwabueze is Nigeria's foremost constitutional lawyer, first academic Senior Advocate of Nigeria and a former Minister of Education and Youth Development. Professor Ben Nwabueze expressed how delighted and fulfilled he was to finally met the supreme leader of Biafra.
He declared how glad he was that Nnamdi Kanu took upon himself the burden of fighting for the restoration of Biafra, while stating clearly that the long imprisonment of Nnamdi Kanu and his mates for demanding self-determination has caused the spirit of the agitation to come to live in countless number of people of Igbo extraction.

Professor Ben also condemned the Nigerian government wrong approach to the agitation, saying the agitation has been turned into something threatening to our corporate existence.
"Lastly, I congratulate Nnamdi Kanu and his fellow sufferers from long undeserved incarceration, for their eventual release from imprisonment", Nwabueze concluded.
On his part, Nnamdi Kanu also voiced out how proud, honored, and humbled he was to meet with Professor Nwabueze stating he will always seek his wise counsel in the fight to restore Biafra. The IPOB leader vowed to do everything humanly possible to make sure Biafrans gets their freedom and that there's no going back in the restoration of Biafra.
