We’ll go with Igbos when Nigeria breaks up – Prof. Dakum, Plateau Elder Statesman
Professor Dakum Shown who is a second Republic politician and founding member of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has said that the North Central can stand alone as a single country and would prefer to be with the Igbos rather than with Hausa people if Nigeria brakes up.

The issue of disintegration of the country has been fuelled by the agitation for an independent Biafra state championed by the Indigenous People Of Biafra (IPOB).

Nigeria must restructure or breakup - General Alani Akinrinade warns

  • The stark reality is that it is difficult to keep Nigeria one the way it is now
  • People are discontented and the economy is down. We are a different people. It is a fallacy to say that there is one Nigeria. Yes, we are all black people, we are all Africans. But first and foremost, I am a Yoruba man.
  • APC govt taking Nigerians for idiots by including restructuring in its manifesto and reneging on the promise
As debate rages over some basic national questions, an elder statesman, respected Yoruba leader, and former Chief of Defence Staff, General Alani Ipoola Akinrinade (retd), in this interview admonishes the administration of President Muhammadu Buhari to do a restructuring of the country to avoid an imminent break up and also to amend the Constitution to allow any constituent part wishing to leave, to do so peacefully.

Nigeria is DOOMED! Only restructuring ‘ll save Nigeria from breakup — Ikokwu, Uko, others
Second Republic Politician, Chief Guy Ikokwu and founder of the Igbo Youth Movement, IYM, Evangelist Elliot Uko, have justified the ever increasing clamour for the restructuring of the country, saying it is the only measure that can save Nigeria from looming disintegration. Ikokwu, who is also a member of the Ime obi (inner caucus of Ohanaeze Ndigbo) said the renewed call for the restructuring of the country “is a new reawakening for some parts of the country and people who did not see the need for restructuring of Nigeria. Unless we restructure the country we cannot achieve economic diversification and growth.

As Buhari catalyses Nigeria's breakup . . .IPOB prays unceasingly for him

As Buhari catalyses Nigeria's breakup
RETIRED MAJOR GENERAL MUHAMMADU BUHARI IS THE MAN ENGINEERING THE SPEEDY BREAK-UP OF NIGERIA AND ENSURING EARLY COMING OF THE NATION OF BIAFRA

Retired Major General Muhammadu Buhari has done more than anybody in the history of Nigeria to divide and dismember the British-created Nigeria. Buhari has significantly catalyzed and fast-forwarded the restoration of the nation of Biafra. Without the efforts of Buhari, the crescendo reached today on the return of the nation of Biafra would not have been possible.

Paradigm shift: Nigeria needs a bottom-up approach to progress. Break the country into bits

Paradigm shift: Nigeria needs a bottom-up approach to progress. Break the country into bits
Nigeria is a colonial experiment that has continued to run in circle of deception and corruption, thereby producing similar results from year to year. For there to be a positive a change, there must be a paradigm shift based on a bottom-up approach that would split the country into its natural indivisible units.”

Nigeria will Breakup under Buhari – US Based Attorney
Failed prophesy of doom

American and Western European experts predicted that Nigeria will disintegrate in 2015. With the political desperation and frenzy that marked the political campaigns of presidential election, many thought that Nigeria was at the point of disintegration.

Surprisingly, the election took place without the much anticipated violence. And following the election, the incumbent president, Goodluck Jonathan, conceded defeat to the victorious opposition candidate, Muhammudu Buhari.
