No restructuring! Arewa Consultative Forum opposes implementation of 2014 confab report
Northern socio-cultural group, Arewa Consultative Forum (ACF), yesterday opposed implementation of the report of the 2014 national conference.
ACF said its opposition to the report was because the North was not adequately represented at the conference compared to the number of representatives from other parts of the country.

All members of Arewa Consultative Forum must be tried and jailed for committing offence punishable under sections 40 & 42 of cap c38 lfn 2004
The Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) hereby notify the Attorney General of Nigeria, Mr. Abubakar Malami SAN, to proceed immediately with the arrest, detention, and prosecution, under Sections 40 & 42 of CAP C38, Laws of the Federation of Nigeria (LFN) 2004, of all members of Arewa Consultative Forum (ACF) including their Youth Wing.

Former Chairman of the Arewa Consultative Forum (ACF), Alhaji Aliko Mohammed has taken a crit­ical look at Nigeria's economy and concluded that the country is in trouble. Aliko, former Chairman of Bank of the North (BON), former Chair­man, Daily Times of Nigeria and a presidential aspirant on the platform of the National Republican Conven­tion (NRC) spoke on sundry national issues in this interview with KENNY ASHAKA. “We are in trouble. It’s about time Nigeri­ans realise that we are in trouble. First of all, as I said about rice, we just can’t sustain it. You don’t buy it with naira. So, you buy it with dollars. You have to earn the dol­lars before you can spend it. Oil is not being bought and you are not exporting anything. So, where are you going to get the dollar?”

The fear of Radio Biafra: Arewa Consultative Forum begs Biafran elders to appeal to Biafran youths. “We cannot afford to transit from one insurgency into another.”
The pan-northern socio-political group, Arewa Consultative Forum (ACF), has begged Biafran leaders to appeal to Biafran youths agitating for secession for calm. Speaking at a news conference in Kaduna on Tuesday, the panic-stricken  chairman of ACF, Alhaji Ibrahim Coomasie, claimed that the issue that led to the nation’s 30-month Biafra-Nigeria War was settled since 1970.
