SHAME on Bilie: Bilie Human Rights Initiative furiously dissociating itself from Biafra

The Bilie Human Rights Initiave, which has been parading itself as fighting for the freedom of Biafra is strenously trying to dissociate itself from Biafra. In an attempt to distance itself from the latest statement credited to Dr Dozie Ikedife, where he advised Igbos to join and support the All Progressives Congress (APC), Adolf Emekesiri, representating Bilie stated that Bilie is "A HUMAN RIGHT ORGANISATION acting as a MERE agent of The Biafrans."

Bilie's oficial statement was in response of Onyekachukwu Ezemba's comment about Dr Ikedife's schocking statement "Ndigbo should embrace APC now". Ezemba had commented thus  "What Is Wrong with the So-Called Igbo Leaders? This Is the Leader of Bilie Telling Us to Join APC. Wonders Shall Never End!"

Bilie's official statement published on Elombah reads "It has become necessary for us to respond to the above interview and comment in order to avoid the error of misinformation or to correct some misinformation. On behalf of the Board of Trustees of Bilie Human Rights Initiative, I make the following Official Statement on this matter:
"The Official Position of Dr Dozie Ikedife in the Biafran Struggle for Independence:
1. Dr Dozie Ikedife is one of the Elders who signed the Legal Instrument that authorised Bilie Human Rights Initiative to sue the Federal Government of Nigeria on behalf of Indigenous People of Biafra for the independence of Biafra. In this case, Bilie is a human rights organization acting as a mere agent for the Biafrans. Bilie is like a Law Firm or an Attorney advocating for the independence of Biafra by the rule of law."
What Bilie is simply saying by the above statement is that it is a human rights organisation that could represent any section of Nigeria in a law court, including the Hausa-Fulani as well as Boko Haram (if they decide to press their phantom accusations against Ihejirika.
By using the words "The Biafrans" Bilie is extricating itself from the Biafran course. It is adopting a neutral stance. As a mere agent representing The Biafrans, Bilie has no interest in Biafran freedom other than professionally representing its client. In other words, Bilie has as much interest in the Biafran cause just as it would have in the Eastern Ukrainian cause if it was called to represent it. Simply put, Bilie doesn,t care whether Biafra comes or not!

Bilie further dissociated itself from Dr Ikedife. According to Bilie, "Dr Ikedife is not the leader of Bilie but an Elder in Biafraland. In the Council of Elders, he is the Deputy Chairman of the Supreme Council of Elders of Indigenous People of Biafra. Thus, he is a Biafran leader and not the leader of Bilie. He leads the Biafrans to the court whenever the case between Biafra and Nigeria is being heard.

"Mr Ezemba said, 'This is the leader of Bilie telling us to join APC. Wonders shall never end'. It is clear from the comment of Mr Ezemba that some people regard Dr Ikedife as the leader of Bilie. Perhaps, this misinformation arises from his leadership of the Indigenous People of Biafra who are in court with Nigeria in a representative capacity by Bilie Human Rights Initiative. I quite appreciate the difficulties some unlearned people may have in differentiating between the Indigenous People of Biafra who are in court with Nigeria and Bilie Human Rights Initiative which is a human rights organization advocating for the rights of Indigenous People of Biafra. The two are different from each other. I have said it several times that Bilie will be dissolved or turned into something else as soon as it finishes its assignment.
Bilie is saying in plain words that people should differentiate it from the Biafran cause. It is instructive to notebthat the Director of Radio Biafra, Nnamdi Kanu has for long been screaming on top of his head that Bilie is not into. Biafra. They were mere agents trying to sabotage the efforts of genuine Biafrans. Emekesiri simply vindicated Nnamdi Kanu with the above statement.
Shame on you Bilie!
