Rochas Okorocha is my younger brother - Atiku. Shame! Imo 'Elders' Council sell Biafra for N1million |
Some Imo politicians parading themselves as Imo Elders Council have been bribed for the meagre sum of N1million by the former Vice President and presidential aspirant of the All Progressives Congress (APC). It is very shameful and baffling that the group led by Nze P.C Onuoha is willing to sell Biafra to the Hausa-Fulani oligarchy for just a million naira!
Speaking during his visit to APC delegates from Imo State in Owerri on Thursday, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, told delegates hoping to cast their votes for Governor Rochas Okorocha during the party’s forthcoming presidential primaries that their votes will votes for him (Atiku).
While responding to queries on whether he was going to use Okorocha as his running mate, stated that Okorocha is his brother and that any vote given to him is as good as the one given to Okorocha. “You can give it any interpretation you like. But all I know is that Rochas is my younger brother. We have been friends for long before we entered politics. So, we are the same.”
Atiku in addition gave the sum of N5million to the Imo party executive and N50,000 each to the 50 national delegate of the party(N2.5million), told the party members to ensure the APC wins every election irrespective of who emerges as candidate.
Underline this: For just N50, 000 Imo APC delegates could sell Biafra. Do these 'elders' and delegates realise that Atiku is making hundreds of millions per day from the oil reseources littered across Biafra?
He rubbished the transformation agenda of President Jonathan’s administration, saying it was not real and merely being carried out in the media.
“Go to any APC State, you will see true transformation” he said, noting that reports heard in PDP states were “all lies”.
He further urged the people of Imo and Nigeria at large to vote massively for APC candidates at all levels.
Responding, the chairman of Imo State Elders Council, Nze P.C Onuoha commended the former Vice President to come back to Imo again and have a meaningful discussion with Governor Okorocha regarding the presidential ticket.
