RADIO BIAFRA records another milestone with the launch of her FM transmission in Biafraland

Today the Radio Biafra London (RBL) launched its maiden FM Radio. The long-awaited launch of the FM transmission was picked up by residents in Igweocha (Portharcourt) and environs at CHK 97.5 and 97.6 FM bands.

The news was of the launch was announced by Nnamdi Kanu, the Director of Radio Biafra, on the group's Facebook page. Kanu who is currently carrying out outreach missions in Biafra reiterated that the movement of for the restoration of Biafra was unstoppable.

“Our PM broadcast this night is coming to listeners in Port Harcourt and environs via Chk 97.6 and 97.5FM, part of the RBL worldwide stable. I came to free my country.”

The fiery Kanu added: "We are unstoppable! Right now in Igweocha Port Harcourt Radio Biafra is test-broadcasting on CHK 97.6 FM to the delight of genuine Biafrans and consternation of fake criminals born of Hausa/Fulani mothers. What we do they only dream of. . . we were busy as always working on Radio Biafra on FM here in Biafraland. Tonight Igweocha (Port Harcourt) will be the first major town to benefit from and receive Radio Biafra on FM on a permanent basis. Aba, Owerri, Asaba, Onitsha, Enugu, Umuahia, Warri and Uyo will be next in the coming weeks.

"I thank Chukwu Abhiama for making this possible and also my beloved brother and fellow hardcore Biafran Chika of the Indonesia family who the transmitting frequency has been named after. CHK is short for Chika and all first phase ground transmitters will be named after him and other hard core Biafrans.

"We saturate the ground with the gospel of truth and after that we sweep away all vagabonds.

Our lines as always will be open to field all manner of questions that people will be brave enough to answer."

Prior before this landmark event, Radio Biafra London has been broadcasting across the world on internet and satellite transmission, serving mainly Biafrans in Diaspora. However, due to the cost of internet access in Biafra and neighbouring parts of Nigeria, a lot of people in the homeland have not been active listeners of the daily broadcast. 

Callers to the PM broadcast expressed their excitement and joy at the accomplishment of this important aspect of the Biafran Restoration Project.
