May 30, 2017: The day Nigeria got the first indication of Biafra's readiness for independence
Shops, schools and businesses were all shut down. Roads and streets deserted save for Nigerian Securing security forces parading the streets and looking for who to shoot. That was the picture of 30th May, 2017. The Day Biafrans spoke loudly with one voice and denounced Nigeria and all her

The sit-at-home order was demonstration of who are they real powers in Biafra - the governors or Biafran nationalists.

The Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) and the Movement for the Actualisation of the Sovereign State of Biafra (MASSOB) asked the people to stay at home and observed the 5oth anniversary of Biafra declaration, while the governors ORDERED the people to come out.

They people obeyed IPOB and MASSOB.

The sit-at-home was a clear vote of confidence on Nnamdi Kanu who in conjunction with other Biafran nationalist groups called for the protest.

The sit-at-home sent a very strong message to the Nigerian government whiffed huffed and puffed on what it would do to Biafrans should they go ahead with the sit-at-home protest.

Finally, the sit-at-home was the day Nigeria got the strongests indication of Biafra's readiness for independence!
