The All Progressives Congress (APC), is planning to unleash an all out war against the Nigerian judiciary. They APC have hinted that General Muhammadu Buhari would unleash the the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), which has effectively been turned into the attack dog of the tyrannical government on the supreme court judges, who gave three key verdicts that "shocked" the APC.

The cold war between General Muhammadu Buhari and the Chief Justice of Nigeria (CJN), Justice Mahmud Mohammed came to a head today. The Supreme court headed by the CJN unanimously declared Nyesom Wike, the winner of the  April 11 governorship election in Rivers State. Buhari and is party, the All Progressives Congress (APC) were desperate to take the oil-rich Rivers State through from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) the backdoor.

A legal halt was on Monday ordered to the planned sale of three oil blocks by the Supreme Court, a day the country learnt of a fresh huge crude find.

A five-man panel of the Supreme Court ordered that the status quo ante bellum be maintained in plans by Chevron Nigeria Limited to sell Oil Mining Leases 52, 53 and 55 to an oil firm, Seplat Petroleum Development Company Limited.

The Supreme Court sitting in the nation’s capital, Abuja, minutes ago dismissed the suit filed by the All Progressives Congress (APC) against the victory of Ekiti State Governor, Ayodele Fayose, in the June 21, 2014 governorship election. The apex court held that the suit against the enfant terrible of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) lacks merit.
