Biafrans Sit-at-home: Arewa in disarray. Afenifere in support. Buhari's tribalistic tendencies fuelled it - Junaid Mohammed .  It is WARNING to Nigeria - Afenifere
  • "It shows clearly that there is a major unity among the Igbo" - Minority Leader of the Nigerian House of Representatives

  • "The success of the lockdown was mainly because the Igbo had been shut out of national affairs." - Rep EJ Agbonayinma (PDP, Edo)

Tuesday’s successful lockdown of the Southeast is indicative of a massive discontent with the Nigerian federation, Afenifere, the Yoruba socio-cultural group warned, yesterday. While the group warned that the issues raised by the lockdown must be addressed in order not to foreclose a negotiated settlement of the Nigerian question, Second Republic lawmaker, Dr. Junaid Mohammed, traced the success of the lockdown to what he described as the hypocrisy of the Nigerian elite class and the tribal tendencies of President Muhammadu Buhari.

Hausa-Fulani and Niger Republic citizens are "one and the same people separated by colonial arbitrary boundaries" - Junaid Muhammad

Buhari would preside over the destruction of Nigeria. Nigeria cannot break up peacefully. There has to be violence – Junaid Mohammed [INTERVIEW]
An outspoken Hausa-Fulani oligarch, Dr Junaid Mohammed has inadvertently confirmed that there is no difference between the people of Niger Republic and the Hausa-Fulani in Nigeria. The former Nigerian federal lawmaker made this revelation, while trying to push through the warped position of the Northern oligarchs that Fulani terrorists attacking various communities across Nigeria are from outside the country. Biafrans have always hold that the Nigerian Hausa-Fulanis should be merged with their Niger Republic kinsmen, while Biafrans are allowed to live in peace. However, due to the numerous benefits they gain from Biafra, the Northern elites have always maintained the hog-wash One-Nigeria mantra.

Junaid Mohammed, Igbophobia and the Biafra War Hangover

Junaid Mohammed, Igbophobia and the Civil War Hangover
Oftentimes, I sit and ponder why there seems to be an eternal mistrust amongst Nigeria's 3 major tribes, the Hausa (representing the North), the Yoruba (representing the west) and the Igbo (representing the east).

But more intriguing is the apparent gang up of two components of this tripod (on which Nigeria stands) in always making the third member feel that he is not wanted in the arrangement, an alienation of sorts.
