(Intersociety, Onitsha Nigeria: 5th May 2017)-closed source alarm raised yesterday(04-05-2017) by Deputy Senate President (DSP), Ike Ekweremadu, LLB, BL; at the floor of the Senate of the Federal Republic of Nigeria concerning leaked plans by the authorities of the Federal Government through its EFCC agents to plant large sums of money domiciled in different foreign and local currencies as well as ammunitions in a dwelling house or property linked to him; with intent to frame him up or rope him in; are not only weighty and alarming, but also a vindication of Intersociety over its  recent advocacy positions concerning mafia like policy and conducts of the Buhari Administration under the guise of anti corruption crusade.It is also a clear confirmation of the fact that the current anti corruption policy of the Buhari Administration is gravely haunted by terminal sicknesses.

Nigeria's Deputy Senate President Ike Ekweremadu on Wednesday raised alarm over alleged plans by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC to storm his house, plant huge amount of money and implicate him. Sen. Ekweremadu According to Ekweremadu who came under point of Order, Order 43 of the Senate Standing Rules said that the money the EFCC intends to put in his house when the anti- graft agency storms his house or one of the guests houses on Saturday, May 6th, 2017 will include British pound stilling, US dollars, Indian Rupee, South Africa rand and Malaysian Ringgit.

The Deputy Senate President, Chief Ike Ekweremadu, on Sunday accused the President Muhammadu Buhari led government of provoking Ndigbo.

Ekweremadu, representing Enugu West Constituency, said that until the leadership of Nigeria learn to respect Ndi Igbo and ensure that equity and justice prevailed, the country can never be the same.

Senator Ekweremadu, who spoke through his Special Adviser on Media, Uche Anichukwu, was called up on a RayPower Radio morning programme, tagged: “Political Platform”, where he responded to questions on the alleged forgery/amendment of the Senate Standing Rule, 2011.

Deputy Senate President, Senator Ike Ekweremadu on Monday raised alarm that his life is under threat by desperate politicians, just as the Police detachment stormed Deputy Senate President Office to invite him.

However, Ekweremadu vowed not to succumb to intimidation or harassment from the ruling party over forgery allegation raised against him.
