Anambra Governor on the Run as Protesting Biafrans approached Awka Govt. House. The Biafran earlier reoprted that the Governor of Anambra State,  Willie Obiano hurriedly escaped from the State’s government house for fear of attack by protesting Biafrans.

Our Correspondent who monitored the protest said “Obiano has hurriedly left the the government house amidst very tight security to an unknown destination as the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) are currently marching in multitude from Onitsha down to Awka”.

According to our correspondent, the protesters are harmless, unarmed and peaceful.‬

‪Obiano has been very vocal against the Biafra agitation lately which has pitched him against many of his people.

Effort to get the governor’s Senior Special

Assistant, Mr. Bob Manuel Udokwu on why his boss decided to leave the government house was not successful as calls to his line indicated that his phones were switched off.

Meanwhile, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has cautioned President Muhammadu Buhari alongside his party the All Progressive Congress, saying it is not comfortable with the methods the President is handling the restive youths of the South-East who are clamouring for Biafra. The PDP admonished Buhari to stop shooting unarmed and innocent Biafrans.
