A suicide bomber on a motorbike blew himself up in front of the Kabul Bank in Jalalabad early Saturday, a local government spokesman said.

The ISIS terrorist group claimed responsibility for the attack. The explosion killed at least 33 people and injured more than 100 others, public health spokesman Najibullah Kamawal said.

Details have emerged of how Muslim migrants from Ivory Coast, Senegal, Mali and Guinea Bissau hauled Nigerian and Ghanain Christian migrants into the Mediterranean Sea enroute Italy. On Thursday, April 16, police in Sicily reported that Muslim migrants hurled 12 Christians overboard during a recent crossing from Libya; another forty-one Christians were believed to have been drowned in a separate incident.

The British Labour Party have engaged Barack Obama's most influential campaign adviser, during two presidential victories to help its 2015 election campaign. David Axelrod, who recently advised Muhammadu Buhari's campaign team,  has been given the title of senior strategic adviser and told the Guardian that Labour's political and economic analysis was similar to the central themes deployed in Obama's successful re-election campaign. According to the Guardian the conservatives are now panic-stricken.

The attacks started after Zulu king Goodwill Zwelithini said in a public speech that foreigners in South Africa should return to their countries and the remarks were widely viewed as having sparked the xenophobic attacks.
