S.A opposition leader Julius Malema blasts Jacob Zuma over xenophobic attacks. Raises Zuma and son's complecity in the raging violence
Julius Malema, the leader of the opposition party in South Africa, the Economic Freedom Fighters (EFF) has accused President Jacob Zuma and son of complicity in ongoing xenophobic attacks raging across South African cities. In a video (see below) obtained by The Biafran, the EFF leader strongly criticised Zuma's handling of the situation.

Malema who strongly indicted Zuma's son, Edward Zuma for inciting violence accused the president of failing to rein in his son nor his accomplices. According to Malema, Zuma's son has continued to call for the migrants to be killed.  According to Malema Zuma has lost control of the country.

He asserted that the increasing spate of violence across South Africa was due to President Zuma high-handedness and use of violence to resolve issues. As a result Zuma has taught South Africans that violence was the only way to resolve differences and must take full responsibility of the attack.

Malema who condemned the attacks further accused Zuma of not condemning the attacks in strong terms. He stated that Zuma's lackluster body language did not match what he was saying while he was condemning the attacks.

Edward Zuma
Edward Zuma, on Tuesday stated that the South African government needs to stop running away from dealing with xenophobia, and it must also stop unnecessarily accommodating foreign nationals.

Edward Zuma,  recently expressed his anti-foreigner sentiments, told News24 that he may be the president’s son but his opinions were independent to those of the president.

“The South African Human Rights Commission can arrest me for my comments, it’s fine. I am not the citizen of President Jacob Zuma. I am a citizen of South Africa. My thinking is independent to that of the president,” he said.

“These are my personal views and I am sticking to what I said and I will die with it.

“I am not going to stop telling the truth. The government must stop running away from addressing this issue because these people are expected to go back into their communities and we would have wasted taxpayer’s monies (accommodating them at camps).”
