A TRIBUTE TO THE EAST CENTRAL STATE POLITICAL CLASS!

So much to say but permit me to commence with congratulating all those politicians who won elections during the just-concluded 2015 General Elections in the defunct East central State of Nigeria.
It has been a hard fought electoral victory where hundreds of millions of Naira including human lives were spent to do the needful.
Sincerely, I am so proud of you all.
From a distance, it looked easy and sounded as normal but closely analysing the odds coupled with contending with the challenges of a parochial, insincere electoral umpire, I must confess that the journey was an odious one.
Let me pay tribute to all those who lost their lives especially their surviving friends, family and well-wishers, may God in heaven grant you peace. May God remain your strength as you mourn, though not as unbelievers, but as those who have faith in God, knowing that it's the beginning of a journey into another phase of life where joy and happiness abound.
Many won this election through the back door, some won through the singular efforts of their dependent person(s)/contact while the rest won meritoriously.
In all, sleepless nights, divisive but painful tacts, discord within family and political parties, psychological and physical exhaustion were part of the price you paid.
As for those who lost genuinely OR rigged out, similar efforts and sacrifices were equally made though providence let it go the other way.
As you were told before the race that only one person must emerge as a winner, therefore you must remain very gallant at the face of defeat.
Most people will be so surprised to hear from me fratanising with same group I called the criminal political class.
The major reason's just that I was once deeply in party politics and had a feel of the pains of defeat and the tears of joy in victory in an election.
At 18 years of age, precisely 1998, I was one of the founding and financial members of PDP in my ward.
For 16 years, I' ve been groomed and I grew up with the principles and percepts of what I learnt.
It exposed me to the realities of life and further prepared me for manhood.
I owe most of my works to my very early exposure to party politics as my researches and activities have a strong foundation deeply rooted in partisan politics.
If without a god-father, I could grow from the field to the boardroom where pertinent decisions are made, then I was well tutored.
I had the opportunity to participate in various congresses and conventions, wrote policy papers and finally ended up as part of a team that reviewed the constitution of one of the political parties prior to the merger to form APC in 2013.
From being a medical student through my internship year till now as a practising medical doctor, I've paid so much price too dearly to my family, friends and my personal comfort without even contesting an election.
In all, I'll NEVER seize to criticize malpractice, looting, murder, arson and such vices peculiar to party politics.
Most importantly, I'll remain undefiant in supporting EQUITY and JUSTICE.
As an apostle of AFRICAN RENAISSANCE, I would like to use this opportunity to encourage the winners to close ranks with their opponents and face the realities of our present time.
We live in perilous times under the contraption called Nigeria and as you all know, the MAJOR enemy we have is DISUNITY.
To the Niger-Deltans, your best of friends as a multi-ethnic entity are those who will promote FIDELITY and UNITY towards your common goal.
To NDIGBO my brothers, our worst of enemies are those who preach RELIGIOUS DENOMINATIONAL SUPERIORITY/DOMINANCE and SECTIONAL/DIALECTICAL DOMINACE/SUPERIORITy.
We must all strive towards EQUITY and JUSTICE at all levels in various political, religious, traditional and social institutions we find ourselves.
To our politicians, our principle objective and drive in this phase of administerative politics should be STRICTLY REGIONAL DEVELOPMENT and INTEGRATION.
As you all know, Nigeria is EXPIRED an NO internationally recognisable LEGITIMATE TREATY binds us with the rest of Nigeria right now.
Frantic efforts must be made to create an enabling environment that will make us self-sufficient and prosperous as a people so that our brothers who find themselves outside our geographical enclave in Nigeria can easily be reintegrated at the face of impending adversities either from individuals, various pressure groups or the Nigerian government through harsh economic and political policies by a local or central government.
Bear it in mind that no SINGLE STATE in the defunct East Central State individually can support herself with or without OIL.
It' ll be worse when more states are created with more divisive infrastructural and financial economic policies instituted to divide us further.
Having this is mind, regional developmental and economic policies MUST be your primary focus.
Attempt to create FUNCTIONAL SMALL UNITS using senatorial, federal constituencies or L.G.A in data analysis, projections, economic and town planning so as to ensure uniform spread, which by only means, multiple individual units could be made very viable economically and possibly INDEPENDENT to sustain life.
In trying to implement this, target about 20 million self-sustainable jobs to be created.
Obviously, this can't be possible without a 100% input from the private sector.
So for you to gain the confidence of the private sector, a high level of tact and transparency must be your watchword.
A DEVELOPMENTAL FRAMEWORK which will accomodate and protect individuals, groups of companies, communities, L.G.A, States and the region's EQUITY INVESTMENT to FINANCE 100% of the developmental drive MUST be set up.
Critical infrastructures to be seriously considered include;
1) Multiple runway(passenger+ cargo) local and international airports.
2) Multiple tract railway system connecting all the major cities within the proposed functional units with the airports and water way channels.
3) Mutiple sources of independent Energy/Electricity with a target of 50,000MW.
4) Electricity distribution networks with multiple options.
5) Real Estate Development to generate at least two (2) million housing units spread across the functional units.
6) Roads, portable water and sewage management not left out.
Adequate framework for massive Agricultural development and industrialisation MUST be put in place in all the functional units as proposed.
At least four(4) centres for MATERIAL SCIENCE INSTITUTES and Centre For Disease Control must be enrgetically pursued in the region.
From the template above, it imperative to engage in REGIONAL PLANNING and MAPPING of the land with the continential shelves of the region as the FIRST STEP towards our dream.
Similarly, it's obvious there's no place for MEDIOCRITY, undue POLITICAL/RELIGIOUS PATRONAGES and interferances on implimentation neither is there enough time to waste on blame game or ego war.
All the support you need have been given to you all through the pattern of CHOICE our people made at the polls via DENOUNCING APC, the symbol of HATRED, SLAVERY, DIVISION, ETHNO-RELIGIOUS intolerance and superiority, and INJUSTICE against our people and by standing with you all who respected our voices and identified with the parties that brought us together as one; PDP and APGA; despite prior excesses of the political actors; in the just concluded presidential,National Assembly and State elections.
It's also most interesting to announce that more support have been pledged to this course across the world by more than 30 million IGBOS in diaspora and hundreds of many other institutes and groups owned and managed by advocates of the United Nations Declaration on the Rights of Indigenous People of the 13th September, 2007 in which Nigeria is a signatory to it.
On our part, more than 5,000 professionals/individuals have been in close communication and are very willing to voluntarily assist in the rebuilding of the Land of the Rising Sun, Biafra.
Already, 329 very sound and highly rated international/constitutional lawyers have been working tirelessly since 2013 with 471 others(compiling evidence-based materials) totally 800 lawyers.
Other groups include Clinical Psychologists, human Rights activists, environmental scientists, architects and Engineers, language specialists, intelligence and security experts, businessmen/industrialists, doctors, medical research specialists and over 3,000 various groups of BIAFRA FREEDOM VOLUNTEERS.
Surfice it to say that our FREEDOM is NON-NEGOTIABLE and at hand.
Our wish for the geographical space called Nigeria is NOT for WAR or DEATH neither is it for POVERTY nor DEPRIVATION.
Our wish is for a PEACEFUL co-existence in our West African Sub-region;
1) Where prosperity, love and brotherhood knows no bounds.
2) Where Africa will find solace.
3) Where the Black Race will be FREE and RE-ENERGISED to compete favourably and healthily among the commity of nations.
4) Where Dignity, Equity and Justice will be taught to the whole world.
Our politicians and political leaders, I encourage you to advertise this work to all indigenous citizens of the defunct East Central State of Nigeria down to our individual families as a whole; let parents and their children share with us our noble dreams of FREEDOM.
Let them know you have brought to them a message of peace and prosperity NOT that of war.
Let them know that times have changed and a NEW DAWN has come.
Make them to know that the era of contract inflation, abuse and arrogance of power, political bulleying and killings, economic sabotage, incessant betrayals and other numerous vices inherent in our politics are over.
Douse the tension and fear already in the eyes of our people.
Give them reasons why their investment drive MUST be redirected back home.
Finally, let me passionately CONGRATULATE and DEDICATE this work to our leader, mentor, UNSONG HERO, father, grand father, great grand father, an advocate of Equity and a CHAMPION of AFRICAN RENAISSANCE who single-handedly REVOLUTIONALISED politics and democracy in Nigeria and laid the foundation stone of the house that nutured and produced the father of modern day Nigeria, Dr Goodluck Jonathan, in the person of DR ALEX IFEANYICHUKWU EKWUEME.
And to my hero, Dr Goodluck Ebele Jonathan, the FOUNDER of the Modern Day Nigeria, may you NEVER seize to CELEBRATE our leader, mentor and father, Dr Alex Ekwueme, whose works nutured and gave you the platform to become a statesman.
To all the NEWLY ELECTED POLITICAL LEADERS in the defunct East Central State of Nigeria, our FREEDOM! FREEDOM!! FREEDOM!!! Must remain NON-NEGOTIABLE and must NEVER be traded in whatever guise.
God bless the LAND of ThE RISING SUN, BIAFRA!!!!!!
ALL HAIL BIAFRA!!!
ALL HAIL BIAFRA!!!
ALL HAIL BIAFRA!!!

Dr Louis Okey Ogbuefi(MBBSnig)
