Crackdown on Niger Delta militants will set off a chain of events that will lead to the end of Nigeria - Fani-Kayode

Crackdown on Niger Delta militants will set off a chain of events that will lead to the end of Nigeria - Fani-Kayode

“On 29th July 2016, CNN reported that “the Nigerian government is preparing troops for a crackdown in the Niger Delta if peace talks fail”.

This is sad and ominous. As United States Senator Ted Cruz once said “the light of truth is stronger than the terror of darkness”. It follows that the biggest mistake that the Buhari administration can possibly make is to attempt to “crack down” on the Niger Delta and kill innocent civilians.

We will feed their flesh to Niger Delta fishes -Biafrans vow to destroy Buhari’s Saudi Forces

We will feed their flesh to Niger Delta fishes -Biafrans vow to destroy Buhari’s Saudi Forces

Two things happened few days ago, which many Biafrans believed have to do with the next phase of Nigerian President, Muhammadu Buhari’s Islamization agenda of Southern Nigeria. The first thing was a declaration by Buhari that Nigerian unity was not negotiable. The second was Buhari’s invitation of Saudi Arabian soldiers as Blackwater Mercenaries.

Buhari and Niger Delta freedom fighters: The fox and the rooster

Buhari and Niger Delta freedom fighters: The fox and the rooster
There is this Igbo folklore, which described why the fox eats the cockerel. The folklore goes this way. From the beginning of the world, the fox longed to make the cockerel its delicacy. But each time he made attempt to attack the cockerel, the red hot fire on the cockerel's head (red comb)  deters him.

Joint Niger Delta Liberation Force et al: Don't be deceived by Buhari's negotiation team! It is an ESPIONAGE team, coming to spy on your armements

Don't be decieved by Buhari's negotiation team! It is an ESPIONAGE team, coming to spy on your armements

Yesterday, the Nigerian government indicated it was ready to stop military operations in the Niger Delta in order allow dialogue to happen. Curiously, this announcement came at the expiration of the ultimatum issued to the Nigerian government by the supposedly deadly Joint Niger Delta Liberation Force (JNDLF), to stop or military operations in the area and pull out its troops, or face unrelentless missile attacks.

The Niger Delta crisis and Jonathan: The parable of Ants on a cube of sugar -Ray Ekpu

The story is not one of an earthquake proportion but it seems to cause some excitement in high and low places. And what is the story? That former President Goodluck Jonathan is on exile in the Ivory Coast. He has countered the story sharply and angrily.

Niger Delta crude oil blocks: The NATIONAL CAKE of Northern Nigeria Oligarchs

Niger Delta crude oil blocks: The NATIONAL CAKE of Northern Nigeria Oligarchs
The process of sharing Nigeria’s oil block (national cake) is as fraudulent now as when Ibrahim Babangida started the process of discretionary allocation of oil blocks to indigenous firms. Discretionary allocation of oil blocks entails that a president can reward a mistress who performs wonderfully with an oil block with capacity for cumulative yield of over $20 billion dollars without recourse to any process outside of manhood attachments.

[OUTRAGEOUS!] Why Avengers are annoyed. Alhaji Mohammed Indimi From "poor" Borno State, donated N4.2 billion to an American University with money made from deprived Niger Delta

[OUTRAGEOUS!] Alhaji Mohammed Indimi From "poor" Borno State, donated N4.2 billion to an American University with money made from deprived Niger Delta
Often you hear in international media that the northern Nigeria is very poor, and states such as Borno State are the poorest. Such reports neglect the facts that there are many individuals in the northern states who holds virtually all the money in Nigeria, These are billionaires who have made money from oil wells in the Niger Delta. Alhaji Mohammed Indimi is one of such individuals. He is so rich, callous and inconsiderate that he brought out a whooping N4.2 billion naira to donate to the Lynn University in Florida, United States, while neglecting universities in his home state.

Buhari is desperate for cash as Nigeria's oil production drops by 800,000bpd - Oil Minister
The Niger Delta Avengers have essentially crippled Nigerian economy. Nigeria is almost at a breaking point with a rapid slump in crude oil production by up to 800,000 barrels per day, coupled with the low price of oil in international markets.

Behold the future of the Niger Delta: 60 years after, Oloibiri oil dries up. Natives wallow in abject poverty. Danjuma and others swim in dollars!

Behold the future of the Niger Delta: 60 years after, Oloibiri oil dries up. Natives wallow in abject poverty. Danjuma and others swim in dollars!
In doubt of what future lies ahead of the so called Niger Delta? Look at Oloibiri. The first community where crude oil was first exploited. 60 years later the community is like a wasteland, with the people wallowing in abject poverty amidst environmental degradation, all the millions of dollars mined from the oil wells are sitting in some foreign bank accounts of the likes of Theophilus Danjuma, Alhaji Mai Daribe, Alhaji Dantata and Rilwan Lukman

Below is an exclusive report of Vanguard on the dangers ahead of the Niger Delta, using Oloibiri as a case study.

Tompolo should stop hiding like a rat and fight like lion. Lesson from Gaddafi and Saddam Hussein's fate

Tompolo should stop hiding like a rat and fight like man. Lesson from Gaddafi and Saddam Hussein's fate
When Saddam Hussein stopped acting like a lion and began to hide in tunnels like a rat, US troops captured him. When Muammar Gaddafi decided to do away with his weapons to befriend the West, he stopped being a lion and became a rat. Guess what? He was caught like a rat in a tunnel.

Government Ekpemupolo a.k.a Tompolo the lion of Niger Delta is currently behaving like a rat - hiding in creeks and swamps. If he continues this way, it won't be long before the murderous Nigerian troops capture him like a rat.

Buhari vs Niger Delta: Who owns the oil? Dividends of Nigeria's failed federalism

Who owns the oil? The failure of federalism in Nigeria
Following the distractional comment today 1st of February 2016 by Mr president on the ownership of oil in the Niger Delta, I invite you to examine with me the validity of his claim, distraction in the sense that the nation woke up this morning to hear the news of the massacre of 300 men, women and children on Saturday night in the village of Dalori in northeastern Nigeria, the president being expected to issue a presidential statement on especially the burning alive of children, diverted the country's attention to the same oil politics that has consumed the lives of millions of people ,especially Biafrans in the 30 months of genocidal war and beyond.

7 Reasons Buhari’s HATE SPEECH against 'Niger Delta' people is a Rude Awakening

7 Reasons Buhari’s HATE SPEECH against 'Niger Delta' people is a Rude Awakening
“The theft of the oil market by some Nigerians that happen to live there who feel that the oil belongs to them and not the country is an irritating thing for those of us who participated in the civil war for 30 months in which at least two million Nigerians were killed.” – Muhammadu Buhari in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia on January 30, 2016
