This month is Biafra month.I have started my tributes to the most resilient and uncelebrated Biafrans.Today I will celebrate three distinguished Biafra gentlemen who rejected the Rivers and South Eastern (later renamed Cross River) states dangled as bait to them on 27 May 1967 and chose Biafra.

Mujahid Asari Dokubo  the former Ijaw Youth Council President and founder of the defunct Niger Delta People's Volunteer Force ( NDPVF) has lashed out at  Ateke Tom the leader of the Niger Delta Vigilante, an ethnic Ijaw militia in the Niger Delta region of Nigeria, over his recent comment against Biafrans. Ateke Tom was recently reported to have asked Biafrans to stay away from Rivers State, as Rivers State is not part of Biafra.

The leader of the Niger Delta People's Volunteer Force (NDPVF), Asari Dokubo has once again reiterated his resolve to ensure the emergence of Biafra Republic. 

In an Occasion organised by the Raph Uwazuruike-led Biafra Independent Movement (BIM), Dokubo expressed the unshakable support of the Niger Delta people for the restoration of Biafra. 

"We shall fly the Biafran flag," Dokubo declared. "And no power on earth can stop Biafra!"

Ijaw freedom fighter Asari Uzodinmma Dokubo yesterday affirmed his strong believe in Biafra, while opining that the name Biafra originated from an indigenous Kalabari word. Dokubo used his Facebook wall reaffirm his support for the restoration of Biafra. 

Dokubo asserted that the word Biafra, is corrupt version of BIAFULO, which Kalabari people named the estuary of Santa Barbara River, from where the Portuguese corrupted the name. According to him, this justifies the ned for Ijaws as well as Binis to join the Biafran restoration project.

Asari Dokubo, the Niger Delta nationalist leader has opined that the recently concluded elections in Nigeria has clearly demonstrated that the unity of Nigeria is a charade. According to him, the voting pattern of the presidential results reinforces the fact that Biafrans (southeast and south-south) are "conquered people who are mere appendages existing at the pleasure of the supremacist and the regional overlords".

The Northern Oligarchy and by extension their political wing the All Progressives Congress, have been caught in many key lies regarding the Boko Haram terrorism and Islamic conquest of Nigeria. Their plot is to obfuscate the main reason behind the Boko Haram in order to confound gullible Nigerians. Through their mouthpieces such as Nasir el-Rufai and Lai Mohammed, the APC is struggling to distance itself from their brainchild vis-a-vis Boko Haram.

The many lies of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has once again come to fore as it emerged that Asari Dokubo was not on the Nigerian jet seized with $9.3 million arms money in South Africa. The spokesman of the APC Lai Mohammed had alleged at the heat of the incident that Dokubo was among the Nigerians on the jet, in a bid to strengthen their weak propaganda against Nigerian President. 

It has however been confirmed that Dokubo was not on the flight.
