MASSACRE!!! Blood flow in Biafra land as Nigeria Army (144 Battalion) invade IPOB protest in Aba: IPOB unarmed protested killed by Nigerian army |
It was a bloody day in Aba, Abia State, where a combined team of Nigerian military and police descended on innocent Biafrans peacefully protesting the continued illegal detention of Nnamdi Kanu, the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB). According to an eyewitness, Orji Blessed who reported for the Biafran Herald "If you like call it hurricane, whirlwind or lightning and thunder strike, that was the description suitable for the scenario today in Aba, Biafraland.
"Blood of innocent unarmed Biafrans peacefully protesting and demanding the release of our leader Mazi Nnamdi Kanu flooded major roads and streets in the Enyimba city. Not less than twenty five hilux vans fully loaded with soldiers and police armed to the teeth swiftly surrounded the people and open fire. Many were killed, scores wounded and more arrested and taken to unknown destination.
Meanwhile, Kanu who was slated to appear before an Abuja high court was not presented by the DSS. The presiding judge absconded from the court for unknown reasons.
It would be recalled that an Abuja high court judge on December 23,2015 washed his hand off the case owing to refusal of Kanu to enter plea on reason that many high court rulings for his unconditional release has been turned down by the DSS following the order of General Muhammadu Buhari.
