Eight reasons why Muhammadu Buhari is already a failure

Eight reasons why Muhammadu Buhari is already a failure
Yesterday I received a call from a friend who said he called to apologise and to accept that he was wrong all along on Buhari and that he has now come to accept that my dissection on Buhari was right. According to him, since action speaks louder than words he finally changed his mind after Buhari’s latest appointments all of which went to Northerners convinced him that far from being a national leader who genuinely wanted to turn Nigeria around for the better, Buhari has rather proven to be a narrow, sectional, dictatorial and insensitive leader whose primary interest and agenda was for the North.

As Buhari motions towards a supreme (Military) Council Command Executive Structure (READ)
President Muhammadu Buhari has ruffled feathers even among his ardent supporters with his lopsided appointments that tilt acutely to the Northern part of Nigeria where he comes from. His latest, appointments of five officials – 4 from the North and only 1 from the South – has increased the tension among Nigerians. Buhari’s ardent supporters upset by his apparent show of insensitivity to the sensibilities and diversity of our great country have no idea who they are hero worshipping or they were simply engaged in the game of wishful thinking.

Europe Refugee Crisis: Those setting fires in other countries can’t complain
Europe is in panic. No, not because of tumbling stocks over what they see as China ‘slowing down’. This itself is intriguing; fanatical prophets and apostles of market forces, begging the Chinese Government to intervene in the Stock Market. The panic is about the tidal waves of migrants from war torn countries, surviving the seas, especially the Mediterranean, to make landfall on European coasts.

PMB: The dangers of one-man-show - Tinubu's newspaper blasts Buhari. Buhari is in a desert he created experimenting with governance

Perversive aura of power

We must not grant President Muhammadu Buhari too much comfort. We cannot afford to blink or take our eyes off the ball. Not anymore; not after all the tormenting disappointments that have emanated from that Aso Rock Presidential Villa since 1999. Why should a President Olusegun Obasanjo have failed so woefully having rode into the scene with cognate experience none else in Nigeria’s history had? Yet he managed to set us back many years. Did we not think that President Goodluck Jonathan brandishing a PhD, and all that shoelessness, was indeed a breath of fresh air? But he fouled our air so much we are still choking.
