Where the electorate is given the ultimate choice to choose who govern over the affairs of the state; where the divine gift of freewill is laid bare without coercion or duress; where people are the architect of their fates; where the destiny of a nation’s future rest on the shoulders of the polity’s conviction in the personality, forthrightness and trust in the candidacy of an individual or the vision of a political party?

Afenifere condemns Buhari’s style of governance
Afenifere, a socio-political group weekend condemned President Muhammadu Buhari’s style of administration saying he is behaving like a dictator.

The group’s Chairman, Pa Reuben Fasoranti said this in Akure while assessing the President’s actions so far.

“President Buhari is running a one-man show. Let him appoint his cabinet and start serious business,’’ he said.

In our 2014 World Human Rights Anniversary lecture titled: “Africa: A Blessed Continent Ruined By Dictatorship & Tyranny” we had observed that out of 30 dictatorial and tyrannical governments on African Continent, at least 25 of them are operated under “presidential dictatorship”.
