How Okorocha defrauded Imo LGA’s: Details of Local Government billions embezzled by Rochas Okorocha and the Islamisation of Imo State
I often laugh my ribs to pains when some uninformed individuals still celebrate and appreciate Governor Okorocha of Imo state.
I feel nothing but pity for those who clap and shout OWELLEEEEE each time Rochas who is gifted in the art of lies and deceit goes behind the microphone to address the people who he has so heartlessly liquidated.
Unfortunately, these people do not realize the fact that they have been taken for a ride by their so called people oriented governor.

This is the main reason for this script because we can no longer continue to smile and clap for the so called rescuer of Imo state when he is actually rescuing his hitherto dry pockets.
I therefore think it is time to let the people of the state know exactly the predicament which Governor Okorocha has put the state in economically. I also think it is time to let them know that there is nothing too spectacular about Rochas except his mastery of lies and deceit which has sustained him and his so called business empire which as revealed was collapsing or even collapsed before the 2011 elections.
It is sad that governor Okorocha, the so called rescuer, people friendly and oriented governor of the state has been involved in so many obvious cases of misappropriation of funds as allocated to Imo by the federal government for the good of the people of the state.
Probably, these few people who still admire and support Rochas do not know that he has embezzled the entire local government allocations from the federal government to individual LGAs which runs into billions of Naira. Below is a breakdown of the allocations to LGs since 2011 to date.

Aboh Mbaise -5,592,914,085.45 billion.

Oru West-4,646,145,112.23billion.
Owerri Municipal-4,622,009,470.68billion.
Owerri North-5,103,710,965.71billion.
Owerri West-4,782,559,065.16billion.

It may interest the diehard followers of Okorocha to know that these monies which were never released to the local government areas as designated have never  been accounted for till today and no one has had the effrontery to ask.
Because of the above, the local government system in Imo state today has collapsed. A visit to all local governments in the state at the moment will be like a visit to a ghost town. No serious activities or even businesse go on in the councils that used to be a beehive of activities while battered or low staff morale has forced the staff into laziness and truancy.
Before our very eyes, Okorocha killed the local government system through which the true dividends of democracy would have trickled down to the average Imo man.

Imo legislators are bought over or intimidated by Okorocha, paving way for his distatorship
Chief Ikedi Ohakim, the immediate past governor of the state left trucks for each local government for the maintenance of its rural roads. These trucks which were branded IRROMA as we speak have all disappeared from the local governments without trace.

I am sure that Imo people have not forgotten the J-Pros contract scandal where about 1.3billion Naira of Imo state was paid for a job that was not executed. Unfortunately, the then Deputy Governor was consumed by this project on flimsy accusations of embezzlement which he has been cleared of by the EFCC. In everything, the fact remains that Imo people know that the project was a conduit pipe through which Okorocha laundered the said fund as he paid for the job upfront even when the contractor had not moved into site which he preached against.

I wonder what is so special about the selfish Okorocha who have sold out very viable government establishments like the concord hotel, the Adapalm and others to himself.

I wonder what is so special about the irrational Okorocha who forced the state house of assembly to legalise abortion in the state which the people bluntly refused and kicked against. Have we forgotten. The above only goes to show that he is a man with little or no morals or even conscience which his style of governance has further proved.

I also wonder why some people who claim to be true Christians should support Okorocha whose is more at home with the North and their religion, Islam. Maybe these people have not heard that Okorocha gave approval for a mosque to be built very close to the Monumental Assumpta Catholic Cathedral in Owerri. I urge these people to ask themselves if a core Muslim governor can improve or even allow a catholic church to be built in his state. It should also be very disturbing that Okorocha paid two million Naira each to about seventeen youths of Imo who converted to Islam on the 16th of November, 2013 at the National Mosque, Abuja. What the above means is that our dear governor could be a tool to islamise the state since he can give such encouragement to any other person that converts to Islam. Maybe we have not reasoned that way. His decision to even join the APC of all parties which its Presidential candidate and entire leadership, from the chairman to the last man are Muslims corroborates the fact that he is almost a Muslim. I therefore ask if that is the kind of leader we wanted in the first place.

Honestly, there are lots of other instances that can show that our beloved Governor Okorocha does not merit the votes we gave him in 2011.
I find it amusing that his people labour and strain to salvage what is left of his remaining respect and love by using lies to cover lies all of which have so far failed to yield any meaningful result. I laugh more because their campaigns of calumny as employed especially against the PDP has even made more mockery of their efforts since the people who have already compared the styles and ways of Okorocha and those of the PDP are filled with regrets. I feel pity for them because they have a load of work to do in laundering the fast depreciating image of their principal who wasted the golden opportunity to become the leader of the Igbos which he so much desire.

However, one thing that makes me happy is that Imo people do not waste time to vote out any individual that disappoints them. They know this fact and that is why they are accusing the PDP of plotting to rig him out without realizing that he rigged himself out with his misdeeds, bad governance and reckless embezzlement of the Imo tax payers money.
In my own understanding, the only thing he can accuse the PDP of is for anointing the faultless, powerful and result oriented Emeka Ihedioha who every one is aware will flush him out because we have all seen that there is nothing so special about him.
