Signs are emerging that the leader of the Biafra Independence Movement (BIM), Chief Ralph Uwazuruike, is emotionally troubled and may need some help. Uwazurike who was expelled from the Movement for the Actualisation of the Sovereign State of Biafra (MASSOB) for anti-Biafra activities has alleged that the Nigerian secret police is funding the Nnamdi Kanu and the  Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB).

The Biafran Independent Movement (BIM) led by Raph Uwazurike says it is set to reintroduced the Biafran currency throughout Biafraland since the value of the naira has depreciated.

BIM Anambra North Director of Finance, Martins Ezeaka, stated this in Onitsha, Anambra State. He said the group has no option but to reintroduce it as it did in 2011.

Apparently afraid of the increasing popularity of Biafra Independence movement, General Muhammadu Buhari has intensified his terrorism and crackdown on Biafrans.

Igbere TV reports that agents of the Nigeria's secret police, the Directorate of State Security stormed the country home of Raph Uwazuruike, the leader of the Movement for the Actualisation of the Sovereign State of Biafra (MASSOB).

Following the fracas between Chief Ralph Uwazuruike’s supporters and some dissatisfied commanders of the Movement for the Actualisation of the Sovereign State of Biafra  (MASSOB), in which two persons died, the Imo State Police Command has summoned the group’s leader to explain his role in the crisis.The  Police warned that the MASSOB leader would be declared  wanted if he failed to honour its invitation.

Okwe is boiling as heavy fighting continues for the soul of MASSOB. Four persons were feared dead as the cri­sis rocking the Move­ment for the Actuali­sation of the Sovereign State of Biafra (MASSOB) esca­lated yesterday.

There were also reports that dissatisfied members of the movement had ousted the leader of the group, Chief Ralph Uwazuruike after over­powering his loyalists in a fierce battle.
