Nigeria's most notorious soldier, Lt. Gen. Theophilus Danjuma (rtd.), has been named among prominent Nigerians that operated foreign accounts and had foreign companies while holding public office. Danjuma, a former Minister of Defence, has been involved in virtually all the coup d'etat carried out in Nigeria, beginning with the brutal assassination of General J.T.U. Aguiyi Ironsi.
