 Ihejirika Sues Australian Hostage self-appointed Boko Haram Negotiator

Immediate past Chief of Army Staff, Lt. General Onyeabo Azubuike Ihejirika has sued Australian hostage negotiator, Dr Stephen Davis for accusing him of sponsoring the Boko Haram insurgency in Nigeria.

In a libel suit filed at the Abuja High Court, the former army chief is demanding N100 billion as aggravated damages for defamation.

A former aide to Governor Kassim Shetitma of Borno State, Junaid Idrissa Khadi, was among 7 fake Boko Haram members paraded yesterday by the Department of State Services, DSS, yesterday, who served as accomplice to the self acclaimed Australian negotiator for Boko Haram, Mr. Steven Davis.

DSS exposes Steven Davis' Boko Haram fraud: Arrests 7 accomplices 

The Department of State Services (DSS), has exposed the fraudulent activities of Steven Davis, the Austrilian-born self-acclaimed Boko Haram negotiator. The DSS vowed that it will serve justice to all those who sponsor or partake in the publication of subversive reports against the country.

Ms Marilyn Ogar, spokeswoman for the service, made the promise when she showed seven suspects to newsmen in Abuja on Tuesday.

She said the suspects colluded with Steven Davis, an Australian, to negotiate with Boko Haram sect members.
