Amidst series of damning reports on the Nigerian government by the Amnesty International over extrajudicial killings, and other crimes against humanity, hundreds of rented protesters under the banner, Global Peace and Rescue Initiative (GOPRI) have, Monday, barricaded the Abuja office of the Amnesty International (AI) demanding the international human rights organization to vacate the country within the next 24 hours.

“I maintain that protest is an important democratic component of freedom of expression and freedom to assemble. Protest is an inalienable right of the human person. It starts from the womb.
