Tyranny! How Buhari barred me and Pat Utomi from speaking at an Ojuwku event - Dr Ezeife

Former governor of Anambra state, Dr Chukwuemeka Ezeife, who is an ardent critic of General Muhammadu Buhari, has disclosed how Buhari used the Department of State Service (DSS), to scuttle an event he was supposed to give a speech. Ezeife revealed this during a recent interview with the Sun newspaper. According to fearless Harvard-trained politician respectfully referred to Okwadike, the DSS told him that an order was given from Abuja to stop him and Pat Utomi from at the event. "Those who talked to the young boys told them that they did not like me and Pat Utomi playing a role in the launching. I called the Director of SSS and he told me that the directive was from Abuja, that it was a directive from above and there was nothing he could do."

Bothered by Nigeria’s current economic crises, former Presidential Candidate of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) and co-founder of the Pan-African University, Prof Pat Utomi, yesterday, decried that the country was currently failing to learn from its 1983-85 financial crisis, blaming it on what he described as the knowing-doing gap of the Nigerian people.
