London shakes as Biafrans and Shiite Muslims simultaneously storm Nigerian High Commission

Nigerian High Commission vibrated today as Biafran nationalists and members of the Shiite Islamic movement stormed the London embassy to protest injustices meted against them. While Biafrans were protesting the continued unlawful detention of Nnamdi Kanu, the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), the the Islamic Human Rights Commission (IHRC) were protesting the massacres of about 350 of their members in Zaria by men and officers of the Nigerian military.

The Commonwealth Liberation Party, a UK registered political party currently spearheading the anti-deportation movement in the UK, has threatened to burn down Nigerian Embassy in London, if General Muhammadu  Buhari do not order it shut down within 72 hours.

The Biafra Republic restoration movement may have received a huge boost and momentum following Nnamdi Kanu’s arrest upon his arrival in Nigeria by the DSS. The movement has gained significant global publicity in the past couple of weeks, and the action of the Nigerian government may have helped to internationalize the peaceful movement for the attainment of the Republic of Biafra. The arrest of Nnamdi Kanu has undoubtedly internationalized the Biafra movement. The longer he is kept in detention the more publicity is generated internationally and locally for the movement.
